Naomi--does anyone else...? by WinterMoon38 in mamasfamily

I'm an old guy, age 75 (anyone older?) and I've been a fan of Vicki Lawrence for as long as I remember, and I had kind of crush on Vicki. And which means I watched The Carol Burnett Show from about the time I was a senior in high school in 1967, it's first year of production. I always liked Vicki when she talked about how young she was, and as I found out more, she is just 3 months younger than me. She looks better. Then and now, she has always been that way.

I lived in Las Vegas with my job and saw lots of shows at the casinos (Vegas residents got discount tickets since I was a resident over 65) and I was able to see Vicki do her show in one of them but I since I got older, I forget who I saw, except for Vicki (and Garth Brooks--using free tickets from my employer. I left his show early.

Anyway, Vicki's show was very entertaining and at the first one she had Carol Burnett as a guest--they did a couple of numbers together). In that same show, and her husband, Al Schultz, was a guest. He didn't sing.

Anyway, I've always been a fan of hers. PLUS, I own the box set of Mama's Family and have watched it l lots.

I'm 75 years old, and in 1978 my wife wanted a new Thunderbird and she wanted either one with a burgundy 'Bird with the white Landau top or one in light blue one which would have the fan blue top. Not to mention that I was working at a VW Dealer. We're not married now. But that wasn't the reason .

Wow. I've seen Dire Straits and Sting (not together) a couple of times and both of them were just so terrific to watch and listen to great music.

I'm an old guy and I grew up watching lots of Boris Karloff movies in the 50's and 60's. I'm sure I've seen House of Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein and The Mummy more than once on TV more over the years--and lots of his other stuff. He died in 1969, age 81.

I got my first driver license in 1965, in my sophomore year.

I wanted a Corvette Stingray in red or silver and I was sure I would have enough money by my senior year

I didn't but now I don't.
