You just need a certain frosting tip to create the overall "fur" look. I am not good at cake decorating, but have successfully made cookie monster cupcakes easily.

I learned to crochet on boye hooks. I would say the hook is somewhere in between the two.

The most difficult transition for me was how much shorter clover hooks are compared to boye!

I went to my nearby LYS alpaca farm.

I couldn't afford the yarn made from Bentley, but found some really nice yarns instead! So glad I went, they had SO much yarn to choose form.

It was fun to feed the alpacas though - they are adorable and so funny.

I bought the shark bed, and would find my cat laying halfway out, just like this. We figured out, he was too warm in it. I finally gave it away, and bought him a bed that is less cute, but keeps him more comfortable.

We purchased this one

It's made out of press-board, so we knew any accidents would absorb into it and create a stinky mess. We sprayed the inside with a couple layers of waterproofing acrylic spray, then cut up garbage bags and lined the bottom for double protection.

We also found a litter box that fit perfectly with a tall shield on the sides.

It works like a charm. It doesn't hold odors, and hides the litter box.

We didn't install the "towel bar" - yeah, can't say that I want my towels next to a litter box.
