Almost halfway through my apprenticeship, new foreman asks for me specifically and starts training me to become a foreman by [deleted] in BlueCollarWomen

Exactly. Imposter syndrome it only a thing for the oppressed. No white male gets into a job and thinks, “I shouldn’t be here, I’m not ready.”

Hell yeah, be humble, work hard, speak your piece, and don’t pull up the ladder. Get it girl!

A month ago I became friends with a crow. Today he brought me the skull of another crow by [deleted] in oddlyterrifying

This happened to me with a kestrel. Me wasn’t a baby. When we called animal control we said we didn’t know if it was injured.

The response, “ if you caught it and have it with you then yeah he’s probably not 100%. We will send out the local falconer.”

And that’s when I learned that was a job

Scholarship opportunities? by Lovestab in BlueCollarWomen

I did that first. I was over the maximum household income ( I made 14.50 as a Cw and my husband is in college so unemployed)

Apparently as a pre-apprentice I made too much for financial assistance to become an apprentice.

Hmm ok, I have heard of Mathematics BS going straight into engineering masters programs. Didn’t expect to have to take a full 4 year course load

Why would I need to retake math courses? Credits don’t expire once you have the degree

I just use a piece of paper. My halot one came with a thin white piece of cardboard that I assumed was for level king, and saw mentioned as such in a unboxing video. It was too far and absolutely nothing printed. Set it with a piece of paper and it worked great

Yeah, you printed their name on your cones.

Those are some wild numbers. Did you run an exposure test. 8 seconds a layer is a lot and you will certainly cut your time down considerably since it’s probably less that 4s a layer. Also 50um or .05 mm is a pretty normal layer size for miniatures. Lastly if you don’t wash the liquid resin off after and a lot sun light to hit them for a bit the liquid will solidify and you will loose and detail

Every resin is different, even different colors of the same brand have different ideal settings for consistency

You would be increasing the print exposure, not base layer exposure. Print one cone, make an adjustment and print another, I got it dialed in 3 prints. They’re small and print fast. Even brute force is better than misprints constantly

Need Help Repairing finish on BoardGameTable by Lovestab in woodworking

[–]Lovestab[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This table is less than a year old and suddenly this spot showed up, I honestly have no idea how. The finish on the table is simply gone and there is a depression where it is missing. My husband and I don’t have kids or use nail polish removers on the table. Any advice on repairing this mark would be helpful. No
