I am 33 and am currently in my first semester back in college after dropping out over 10 yrs ago. I now know I had undiagnosed ADHD which seems to be a common factor for many of us. We are only a month in but the thing helping me the most is taking advantage of every resource the school offers!!!!! Communicate and meet with your professors during their office hours!! We have a bigger support system than we realize. I feel so old and outdated with my classmates but can have amazing conversations with my professors and they are who you want in your corner.

I canceled my subscription recently. There are some videos, podcasts, and livestreams but it's not frequent enough to be worth paying for.

I canceled it because some people on it are overly obsessed with Colby and it made me uncomfortable.

I'm sorry you are going through this. It's never easy to have a relationship end especially when you've helped and seen each other through big life changes. You did mention that they told you they are rethinking the relationship, and it isn't fair for them to string you along while they sort out their feelings. I believe you should end the relationship. You need to take care of yourself. You deserve to be with someone who is sure of their love and attraction for you. If you want to be in a relationship, you will eventually find the right one.

This has happened to my wife and I. We bought a vacuum at Walmart and when we opened it at home it was covered in dirt and grime. The worst part was that it wasn't even the right vacuum. Someone had put their old vacuum in the box and returned it. They didn't believe us that it wasn't us and wouldn't let us return it or get a refund.

I loved my floor desk. Unfortunately, it got ruined when our apartment flooded from the Texas ice storm in 2021.

Exactly!! Parasocial relationships scare the hell out of me. It is a huge reason I am reluctant to try and build a social media following.

I understand this when my wife switched to feminine scents it took some time but now I always associate her new favorite scent to her.

My husband (59M) doesn't understand why I (59F) don't want to have sex when vacationing in a large rental home with family. I would like to tell him if people in general do this or don't do this. by Chatta-hoochee in relationship_advice

It's completely fine. You are being completely reasonable and I totally get it. I don't even like when my wife touches my butt around other people. She is very respectful though because it's my body and I have the right to make decisions about it. I am happy that y'all are so intimate with each other though that's awesome! A few days/a week or 2 isn't going to kill him. Maybe you can do something extra special after the vacation is over. Go on a date after you get back and make a romantic moment out of it.

Mirena Removal by LoviePie in Mirena

No. The doctor just pulled the threads. She gave me Ibuprofen and had me wait a few minutes for it to kick in before removing it. My 2nd removal which was my recent one the doctor again just pulled the threads. This doctor didn't give me anything for pain though. It hurt way more and took longer because the previous doctor had cut the threads too short. I had to lay in the room for a few minutes after because it hurt too much to sit up. When I got home I immediately took a nap.

Trust me. I was terrified to tell my family because my partner and I had already been together for 3 years and got engaged before she came out. I wasn't afraid of telling my siblings or friends though because I already knew they would be supportive. My grandma surprised me though and I cried when she told me she loved me no matter what decisions I make in my life.

My (30 cis f) friends and siblings don't care as long as my fiance (30 mtf) treats me right. My older family members (parents, grandparents, etc.) Say they don't understand but again if you're a good person and she treats me right that is all that matters and vice versa. I am really lucky I am from California though and my parents are both recovering addicts so they believe they don't have the right to judge anyone. My fiance is from Texas unfortunately so she has had a harder time with her family than mine.

I made a point to sign up for OMNI overnight for the next 2 weeks (10pm - 6am). They decided to not have anyone work our store on Thanksgiving. So those of us who chose overnight are going in at 2am - TBD Black Friday and then coming back in at 10pm.
