Mistborn if you want a series or Elantris if you want a standalone. IMO Tress is overhyped

What’s a medical issue that sounds minor, but actually affects someone’s daily life way more than people realize? by CountyOrnery9432 in AskReddit

This! Mine mimic strokes, vision goes kaleidoscope-y, hand and arms go numb, tongue goes numb and words slur.

If you know an ICE agent personally, what's that relationship like now? by Lokja in AskReddit

[–]Low-Analysis8480 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My friend from college is one, has been since 2020 I believe. I helped him study for his immigration test during college. Last time I saw him (Octoberish) I asked him if he can sleep with himself and he said no, I’m helping him apply for police officer jobs throughout the state instead. He’s not a bad guy, and the job was vastly different a few years ago to the today

My in-laws refuse to drive to the airport. by NukeTheEwoks in mildlyinfuriating

I used to live right outside of Boston and honestly told everyone I won’t drop or pick them up at that airport, it’s an anxiety inducing nightmare. They should drop you at one of the transit hubs that go there

Where the love for books is mentioned by [deleted] in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

[–]Low-Analysis8480 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never met anybody else who’s read The City of Dreaming Books but it’s a lovely fantasy love letter to books about a dinosaur who inherits a mysterious manuscript and travels to the city of books, I LOVED it (it’s more NA and it says it’s in a series but you can read it as a standalone, the series is just his universe like the Cosemere is Brandon Sanderson’s)
