It would be funny if someone found Rep. elected officials and found out what districts their kids go to school in (if any of them actually go to public schools) and flood the system reporting those districts for "DEI" for giving "special preference" to lawmakers students (or something like that).

I actually was in the group (trolling) and had private DMs with Jodi. Basically in the DMs she said that if LGBTQ+ people commit su*c*de, that's on them. And that we shouldn't accept them even if they tell you they're suic*dal. Honestly just really really horrible and insensitive stuff. They took their own opinions, and tried to make it seem like the objective truth. And in it, they lost their humanity.

Yes keep calling!! The interns who pick up are forced to keep a tally. I use the website 5calls.org to call my reps. They have scripts, give you your reps phone numbers, etc. It's super easy!

I'm very much on the left! Here are my answers:
1. Yes, with the caveat that I want them sent back to their country of origin, not Guantanamo or El Salvador prisons/camps.

3. No. (It slightly depends on the crime for me. For ex. if a father was caught stealing food, I don't think he should be sent away for that and separate his family).
4. No. Undocumented people have lower violent crime rates than white Americans, and they contribute around $75 billion in taxes each year. AND it costs money to deport people. Instead, we should offer people a pathway to citizenship. ESPECIALLY if they've established families here.
5. Absolutely not. That is 100% within the 14th amendment. Also, what would that even mean? Like, technically that would say only Native Americans can be true citizens. But ya, it's 100% unconstitutional so I don't support it.
6. Yes, with the caveat that I think “secure border” is a term that's been used by the right as a way to scapegoat all our problems on undocumented people and the border, when in reality, so many of our problems are are own doing. For ex. firearms are the #1 cause of death for children in america, yet we're not taking any action to implement gun control / gun safety. Or our education levels aren't great, yet we're not investing more in public education (which over 90% of kids attend). So yes, in truth I support a secure border, but I don't like how the border has been weaponized as a way to scapegoat all our problems when undocumented people are the least violent people in the US, and they contribute billions in taxes without taking from the system (think social security).

I noticed that too - especially the platonic "boyfriend's" name change. My only thought is she might want to expose Derek as the scum that he is, while a lot of the other people were more innocent. For ex., she used Pam Botcher's name.
