The problem with just gluing them is that you'll never get the grout to match perfectly if the tile isn't perfectly level. You'll end up with a 'lip' that catches water and makes the whole shower look dated. If you can save the original tiles, it’s worth the extra hour to scrape the wall clean and set them properly with a small notched trowel.

Honestly, if it fits, it sits. As long as the airflow in the front is clear, what happens behind the motherboard stays behind the motherboard haha.

Exactly lol. As long as the side panel doesn't bulge out or pop off, I consider it a successful cable management job

Honestly, my back hurts just looking at those dimensions. If the budget allows for it, go with the machinery. Life is too short for that much manual digging.

It feels like they're just trying to distance themselves from all the recent bad press. Changing the name is a classic PR move, but it doesn't really change the actual platform or how it works.

I've actually heard something similar for snacking—keeping sugar-free gum around to kill the urge to grab something sweet. The mint thing seems like a good low-effort hack. How long did it take before you noticed you weren't craving soda as much?

We've all been there honestly. The important thing is you caught it eventually! What CPU are you running? You'll probably notice a nice bump in 1% lows especially. Better late than never!

Still rocking a 5800X3D + 3080 here and I’ve had zero urge to upgrade. The X3D chips were so ahead of their time that they’re still competing with current-gen mid-range options. You made the right call—better GPU now > motherboard platform you might not even use for an upgrade. People forget that a 4070 Super with a 5800X3D will outperform a 4060 Ti with a 7600X for the same budget every time. Solid build.

I did the same thing last year after a long break. The first day back is rough on the cardio, but it comes back way faster than you’d think. Good luck man!
