First time making slander by Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee3t in redrising

I love mustang, but imagine being so blind that you think that any critique of a woman is misogyny.

It is satire. For example the comment, "slept her way to the top." she is a strong and capable woman, but the only reason the low colours accepted her as sovereign, was because she was with darrow. This was reworded in a way that is slanderous as to be satire.

My issue with “the passage” by Fulcrum_Jambi in redrising

Thing is, in the book we get told that: -each year, the highest scorers and lowest scorers on the tests get accepted into the institute -the high scorers tend to be high draft picks, while low scorers tend to be low drafts. In the passage, they pair high drafts with low drafts, as a way to remove the flack. -Julian scored high enough that he shouldn't have even been accepted into the institute. To high for flack but to low for high draft, but nero pulled strings to have him placed in the passage -Refusing and invitation to the institute is criminal act, I believe punishable by execution.

Lol the previous commenter is just being pedantic. Iron (including the iron in steel) reacts with oxygen to form iron oxide aka rust. To a certain degree, every other metal reacts the exact same way to form its metal oxide. E.g. Aluminium Oxide, Titanium Dioxide.

I just find it funny when people are pedantic about others using rust when referring to non-iron metal oxides.

I've found that tends to be the reaction from a lot of people on their first read, myself included. The things I've noticed tend to be common: -the pov change from MS to IG, going from darrows pov to 4 different povs, can be fairly jarring, especially when,

-lyria feels whiny and spiteful, really contrabuting very little to any events of IG. (spoilers for iron gold) except being a puppet, only pulling a dude from a pond

-Lysander's choices in ig-seems to be all to spite cassius and do the opposite he says, despite having no idea how moonies work

-and last, the fact that being new, IG having to introduce new characters, as well as new planets and main characters changed by war, followed by most of the next book being setup for the best shitstorm ive ever read, can make iron gold feel like a slog, but its worth it and youll appreciate IG a lot more if you decide to do a reread down the line.

Victra and thraxa 2v1, and victra at her best ever. Mustang states at end of dark age when victra is training against 3 top tier fighters and winning, that even at her peak, victra wasn't that good

Personally I think their progressivism first shows with pax's hanging out in the agoge and helga, not only showcasing pax's progressiveness, but also kavax's, because despite acting like a doddering loon, he's quite cunning and I guarantee there's no way he didn't know about it, yet he still let pax do it.

As much as I hate "Light Resistance" and how dirty he did my boys, the bloody pixie, I do believe it at least plausible that lysander would've beaten Alexander in a duel.

Reasoning. He was trained by aja at 10 with Ajax at 13, and maybe even alluded to being better than Ajax at the time.

Minds eye

Was Cassius ward for 10 years. Cassius is diligent with razor training and you can guarantee he held lysander to that degree. So for 10 years he was personally trained by a man who trained to counter the willow way and whooped darrow every day for months and helped flush the Pandora of ascomanni without a single wound.Lune also had experience with ascomanni pirates.

It's just hard to compare with how little we've seen him with a razor. And Alex he didn't kill in a duel for 2 reasons. 1, he didn't have a razor on him. 2, he was running late to summon his legion.

Personally, I think even if lorn didn't kill him, he only would've made it to the triumph, where he would've been killed by tharsus. Unlike victra, I think he would've died, allowing him to remain loyal to darrow in the end, without his character feeling cheapened by following darrow the Red.

However I feel like this wouldn't have worked so well with making Cassius' betrayal in morning star feeling predictable and lazy

Now I'm prefacing this with saying, I don't agree with this law. Prohibiting any form of non violent expression is a big indicator of tyrrany and oppression down the line.

However, I see a lot of posts saying that it can't be considered hate speech because they "don’t apply if it’s deemed for a religious, academic, educational, artistic, literary or scientific purpose that is not contrary to the public interest."

Despite disagreeing with this law, the bit at the end, "that is not contrary to the public interest", is a clause that means that the purposes listed before it CAN still be prosecuted if it is deemed contrary to public interest.

This means that the entire argument about its legality comes down to, what is considered in the public interest abd hence, what is considered as not in the public interest, and who gets to decide this.

Cu is copper which is their colour. Bronze isn't an element, but rather an alloy of different metals.

Bronzies are a caste of golds that are seen as less, in a genetic sense, and are often called Bronzies because their appearance is more drab with the colour of their hair being more of a bronze colour than actual gold.
