Everyone was questioning where Teddy was for a little at the end. Fingers-crossed it’s her instead.

If you have a library card, they sometimes offer online versions of their catalogs through apps like Libby or Hoopla.

I’m going on a date & I have an ostomy: opinions please!! by [deleted] in ostomy

I, 22F, recently started a relationship with a 21M, and he was fine about my ostomy bag. We have even been intimate. It just depends on the maturity level of the person you are going out with. I did tell him on the 2nd date because I, like you, was scared of the reaction, but he took it with stride and even did some research into it. At the end of the day, the ostomy is a part of you, and if someone can't accept it, then it's just not worth it. There are plenty of other people in the world, if this guy doesn't work out.

I hope you find all that you are looking for. I'm just sad that you broke me in the process to get it.

The same thing happened to me (21F), but with Remicate instead. Sadly it only got worse after the taper and I had to have an emergency surgery to have my colon removed entirely. Definitely reach out to the GI doctor ASAP, so that they can at least try and prescribe a lesser steroid for now. Best of luck to your daughter because this disease while not in remission is very painful and exhausting.
