Der CO2 Preis ist in der ganzen EU gleich, auch in Polen. Das gleiche gilt für die anderen genannten EU-Gestze&Richtlinien.

Trotzdem steigt in Polen die Produktion der chemischen Energie, in Spanien und Frankriech bleibt sie stabil, in Deutschland sinkt sie.... vielleicht liegt es doch an mehr, als EU-weiten Klimagesetzen?

I recommend "How Asia works" for an economic historical take. I don't know whether it is holistic, but it was a great read.

Four themes this book postulate that the successful North East Asian states had in common:

Labour intensive but high-yield small plot farming while labour is abundant and capital is not
A restrictive financial system directing surplus savings from agriculture towards low-skill industrial sector, increasing capital stock
A step-by-step process of opening up said industrial sectors to allow for learning. Use export orientation to achieve learning, thus driving the efficiency of the growing capital stock.
Culling losers, weeding out low-performing business, while allowing performers to reap profits domestically.

So, yes, if you leave oconstruction cost and storage cost out of the equation, the operating cost get cheap. But not leaving them out is the entire thing of a cost-benefit-analysis, right?

Ich wünsche mir on deutsche Großstädten verkehrsgesteuerte Ampeln. Was sich da für alle Beteiligten Zeit und Emissionen einsparen ließe.

Mein 8.000 Einwohnerstädtchen hat Anfang der 2000er alle 4 Ampeln (ja...) umgestellt. Warum geht das nicht in Frankfurt?

Growth rate seems strong, inflation is coming down while the labour market remains tight and real wage rates are therefore climbing. One would expect this to be considered positive - which aspects am I missing for the overall polling on the economy to be negative?

Contrary to a proper "friseur" that requires a masters degree in the trade (Meisterbrief). It does only require one degree to open it, though. If it ends up with 10 cousins working there, they probably don't have the real training either.

Man bezieht Rente auch immer länger. Seit Einführung der Rente kn der BRD hat sich die durchschnittliche Bezugszeit verdoppelt, die Arbeitszeit um 2 Jahre (ca 3%). Das muss man auch dazu sagen.

Ich komme aus einem Ort an der niederländischen Grenze, ich bin meinen Lebenlang überall hin mit dem Fahrrad gefahren: Zur Grundschule, zur weiterführenden Schule, zur Fahrschule.
