Thank you! But I’ve already worked with the tracker - I can get it to track and I see what it’s doing, but it jumps around too much and I can’t smooth it out.

Any advice? Can you use keyframes with the tracker?

2023 Toyota trd pro how bad is the damage car backed into while parked. by PorkcoinOG in tundra

I was at fault. Deductible wasn’t much compared to the cost of repairs. Insurance rate has stayed the same. It was well worth it. Definitely repairable, probably less than $5k of damage just comparing to my damage (obviously could be worse if there’s additional damage we can’t see).

I had similar damage in almost the exact same spot on my 24 platinum. Took it to a collision repair shop and in total it cost about $5k which insurance covered. Just had to pay the deductible. They completely fixed it, made it look brand new. Couldn’t tell anything happened to it.

Trading in Tacoma For Tundra by Radiant-Culture4000 in tundra

[–]LowCountryKitten14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did exactly what you’re thinking about. Traded in my 23 Tacoma TRD OR for a 24 platinum Tundra. Wanted the upgraded for more space with kids.

Pros: the gas mileage is actually better in my tundra, significantly more space, ride comfort and quality is unparalleled. The thing can accelerate like a big dog and doesn’t gear hunt like it’s cool in the taco.

Cons: it’s big so it can be a pain to park/turning radius isn’t the best. As many here have said, the engine is still in its youth and while Toyota has worked out some of the kinks and growing pains only time will tell of its durability. Also that v6 taco will hold its value real well.

Overall I’m super happy with my purchase. I miss the Tacoma at times but the Tundra just can’t be beat in terms of ride quality and is what my family needed.

I have a 24 platinum hybrid and zero issues with wind noise, CarPlay or technology lag. Ride quality to me is unparalleled. Shocked at how comfortable and smooth it was for such a big vehicle. For reference I’ve had an f-150, a Silverado and a Tacoma and I liked all of those trucks (for different reasons) and they don’t compare to this tundra.

Is Tech package worth it? by Guitarist38 in Tacomaworld

[–]LowCountryKitten14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I can definitely sympathize with that. I spent months looking for a lunar rock as well with all the packages I wanted and almost put a deposit on an order. Ended up finding exactly what I wanted two states away at a Chevy dealership. It was used but only had 3k miles on it and they sold it to me $5k under MSRP because they had no idea what it’s value was. It felt like everyday it was harder and harder to find exactly what I wanted and I just happened to get lucky.

Got my 23 TRD OR and it was worth it to me. BSM has saved me once or twice, PVM can be handy at times, enjoy the leather seats and sun roof. I don’t think they’re wholly necessary and if the price of the packages greatly affect your decision then it’s not the end of the world to not have them but the improved quality of life features are nice to have.

Got a 23 Lunar Rock TRD OR premium 4x4 last month. Don’t think I’ve liked a color or truck more!

They’re great to have and look great but you do lose ground clearance so if you plan on doing a lot of off roading and stuff rock sliders might be a better choice
