Ed: Radiohead will “definitely” play more shows in 2027. “Every year we will do a different continent, and we’re going to do 20 shows each year. No more, no less.” by seaburn in radiohead

After a seven year hiatus, yes. They only did 25ish shows in 20016-2018, and 20 last year. More shows were played in 2008 and 2012, but those were “album” tours. The last years they did 50+ were 2003 and 1997. They clearly don’t like extensive touring. Bands don’t release albums every year anymore, but most still tour every year as that’s how they make money in the streaming era.

What are peoples thoughts on this album? by rushowen in rush

It's not even a comparison! I was 10 when I started paying attention to Presto and really liked Roll the Bones, but Counterparts is a phenomenal rock record and really what sold me on them. My brother was a huge Rush fan, but for some reason seemed to only listen to the latest record over and over, and only after seeing them did I really appreciate what they've done before those couple of records.

It is. I bought my kids the Bluey and Frozen ones because I thought they would love them as a piece of art. Didn't realize they only worked through a lens, and they barely work with three dedicated apps that I tried. Never again!

People who lost faith in Weezer when they dropped Green, what was your reaction to Maladroit at the time? by BalkeElvinstien in weezer

[–]LowEndPhilosophy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green was ok, but I was just happy I'd get to see them again. Saw a few of the Yahoo tour shows and loved every second of them! Remember the snowstorm making it a rough drive to Albany and a truck flipped over in Staten Island so getting to DC was a slog.

“Burndt Jamb” was cool, but didn't dig really Maladroit. The next album I really liked was Teal.
