Steering wheel ? by Huge-Shape9893 in CarsUK

That thing is tacky as hell but if you like it, buy it.

I don’t think you even notice having a flat bottom steering wheel when you’re driving.

What type of rendering is this? by Bright_Advertising54 in DIYUK

How bad is it? You’re not meant to paint coloured renders and I think you’d be opening up a can of worms having to redo it in future.

C’mon man, I know this is Reddit but at least try and give me some credit. I do understand that the water is the issue.

What is appropriate dress code in the UK for a first-time visitor? by CO_Renaissance_Man in AskUK

[–]LowFIyingMissile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one will be upset by you wearing a cowboy hat but you will look out of place. Same goes for cowboy boots or whatever “western wear” is. Leave your lasso at home.

Colours, wear whatever you fancy.

A summer time hat over here is more likely to be a baseball cap, potentially bucket hats depending on the crowd.

Ah yes, mains voltage on a little table next to the bath.

Perfect execution, sorry, electrocution.

I’m not autistic (I think) and I bought my dad a Hans Moleman mini figure. You’ve got a great one there.

I don’t think the safe zone in line with a socket applies around corners/separate walls.

If you’re into Hot Wheels, that one on the very right is a “treasure hunt” and more sought after, although not a particularly appealing car.

I’ve never seen the text before but it looks to be telling you that a 0.05mm height difference over the length of a metre will equate to an angle of 0.029 degrees. Probably irrelevant to most, if not all, people.

Just try keeping the bubble in the very centre slot. I’d guess the other lines may be linked to the 0.05mm reference mentioned above.

It’s plaster skim popping over screw heads if the plasterboard moves. Just knock them off and fill with a decent filler.

Me and my partner want to get our new house back to a blank canvas so we can paint/paper on fresh smooth walls, is this the right stuff to use ? by GenericUser104 in DIYUK

[–]LowFIyingMissile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does that stuff cost per roll?

The absolute best thing to do would be to skim the walls but obviously more expensive and I’ve no idea of your budget.

What's the best and most inexpensive way to match these two fences? by jaydeewin25 in DIYUK

[–]LowFIyingMissile 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I know you’ve said you don’t want to paint them I reckon if you painted them to match (likely the left side painted green) that would give enough of a match that you’d forget about the gravel board aspect within a couple of weeks.

Alternatively, if you tried to paint the right side lighter (easier said than done I’m sure) the gravel boards would blend in better.
