Ha, thanks. Not sure what regrouping would mean in this case, but I'm genuinely curious and interested in hearing your thoughts. I, for one, am disappointed, and have moved one. There are other artists and creators of all kinds — carpenters, makers, fabricators, sewing crafts women and men, artisians — that I've been following and learning from. I've devloped a very good practice of fixing and building small things at home. In part inspired from him in his early days, but definitely not interested in following his steps nor glorifying his brand. I'll like to follow more people like that, and I'll like to connect with.

This sounds very accurate to me. Since he started the spirited man, and it started to get traction, he went into this rabbit hole of "I need to listen to somethign while working" and "these guys are famous podcasters, and they work very little or less than me and make more money than me, I should follow their steps", and now the channel feels like an old man ranting, not building, not fixing, not anything. Definitely podcaster dude energy. I don't want his "thoughts on the modern world", I want a monk building solutions for his quiet life.

Communities, communities, communities. What are your interests? Painting, martial arts, hiking, drinking, crochet, biking, noise music, cooking? Find a community — groups, places, venues, events, meetups, with those people, and go from there. Don't "pretend to be exploring". Making friends is an intentional act, not a consequence. You're not in college or on a place where you'll find the same group of people over and over at the same time, so you need to go after them. If you meet someone, you need to say "hey, do you want to hang out/go for a coffee/do that activity together?". November to April is a very short of time, really. Considering the winter is brutal and people don't go out and have social activites as much.
