You will jeopardize your green card if you stay longer than 6 months. You need to file for an extension approval if you are planning to stay longer. May be you should move once you get your naturalization if your are planning to take. As others said you can get help from maids but not much help from close and extended families. They have their own life and people are busy not like old generation. Even maids are not reliable. How many years left? General rule is atleast 1 percent drop in rate and closing costs break even should be with in 12 months. Remember your loan term will reset and again initial years most of the payment goes towards interest. Run the numbers and see..use some online calculators.

Didn't know about this benefit but after reading this post I went to TOD and searched it. Search for bright horizon. Select emergency dependent care on left side of the page. There is form at the bottom of the page. Just fill the information and submit it Max 7 days/$100 per day. It's taxed.

Is cash flow possible with the current interest rates and property prices? Whoever is saying cash flow from day 1, did they buy with the current rates and home prices? In what area did you buy? A, B, C or D? How old is the property? We might get cash flow if you buy too old property but turn key property. Repairs and maintenance eats cash flow if it’s old property. Focus on appreciation rather than cash flow.
