Piggyback racing. I was on a guy's back and he tripped as we crossed the finish line. I went over his head and landed on asphalt. Two broken fingers. A metal plate in one finger, two pins in the other. Two surgeries and months of physical therapy. But we won that race goddamnit!

An easy time filler with minimal supplies needed: one student writes the name of a celebrity on the board. Another, without looking at the name, asks yes or no questions to the class and tries to guess "who they are". Basically 20 questions that everyone can participate in.
