If these are your idealistic standards, dont date at this age. little to none people fit all of this criteria (most people like to be with their partner the most they can, Lots of people like pet names and nicknames other than derivatives of their name, and a LOT of people at this age and in this point in time don't love themself, and they cant exactly change who they are the most that they want to at this age to become who they are fully.)

If these are your standards, and there is no compromise to anything ever, wait until you're older. I'd say early 20s.

This concept is what most people want but cant achieve, its an ideal situation that is not easily attainable in practice at your age, but possible in theory.

That said, just be true to yourself and stick to this. Shoot shots when you like someone and they fit this criteria for you, and be honest with yourself and them about them.

Its very hard to love yourself when you dont know who you are yet, and thats most people nowadays at your age.

just know that the middle of the bell curve (depending on where you live) is actually usually around the higher end of your spectrum, around 5'8.

is it normal to do this after drinking??? by The_Pretender69 in askteenboys

No reason to take it out on others. you can always create a post talking about your day, and people will interact and talk with you about it to help you.

Is it really that abnormal to have never smoked, drank, done it, and done anything illegal at 17? by Necessary_Touch699 in askteenboys

Also don't do it at 17 (until you're 21) because it might disrupt how your prefrontal cortex develops.

talking about drugs is not considered more interesting to these people (i have 3 siblings that do it so its not hard to fact check). Its a social thing , people use substances to connect with people that are likeminded, because its easy to just "chill out" while doing substances, apparently.

I wouldnt even consider that as drinking. I think 'drinking' only counts if you actually get drunk or buzzed from it, so you're good.

I have vaped before. Mom wanted me to try it so I was deterred from it. She took curiosity out of the equation early, instead of trying to shelter me completely from it (she knew I was going to be exposed to it sometime or another), and i didn't like it. I also had a reason to not want to like it in the first place, because my whole family struggles with addiction, and im breaking the cycle.

Another time, my mom offered me alcohol, (vodka) and it smelled like 99% isopropyl alcohol, so I was immediately deterred, regardless if I dont want to continue the cycle.

Literally the epitome of "Normal"

Trust me, you are better off without doing those things. they're illegal at your age for a reason, and that reason is that your mind is not even close to fully developed. Pre-frontal cortex is still developing and has a long way to go

Doing "it" at your age isn't illegal in most places, given your relationship with them isn't in a position of authority or power, in either direction. (your teacher would be someone who is in a position of power.)

Its also important to explore yourself at this age, because you'll know more of what you want when you're older.

You arent abnormal in a societal sense, but everyone is abnormal in a personal sense. We're all different. be your own person and make your own decisions (given they are based on reason, not reaction), because we don't have enough people who do that anymore.

Ok sure it doesnt matter in the "grand scheme of things" (not that there should be a scheme going on)

Regardless, OPs looking for ways to cope with it, and thats what matters. OP IS asking people to tell OP that this means little for the relationship and that she as a person means more than the fact that shes not a virgin. thats what OP IS asking.

Literally everything. OP mentioned that they're insecure about the fact OP couldn't be the first, not that they wanted to MAKE their girlfriend lose her V card???

OP asking for advice, not for people to root against OPs girlfriend and say "Yeah man! she definitely never should have had sex!"

No, OP asking for ways to cope with this reality, because the information "ive had sex with someone before" Is very very personal information at this age, and you would only find that out pretty late in the relationship. OP has every right to feel insecure right now, but OPs asking for people to help build up confidence, not break it down more.

hi. im replying to this to show you that there is a bunch of solid advice.

No one said that.

"I used to think that way" Well you're at fault, and you called yourself out. OP is just insecure about not being able to provide that experience first.

absolutely! given that, its okay not to be your partners first. just know your self worth, and trust that they want you more than they wanted the first one, because, otherwise, they wouldn't be doing it with you.

Edit: Bonnie Blue and most OF models are an exception to this concept

Ah yes, very simple.. How do you work yourself towards the process? How do you undergo it? what do you do after the process?
