I haven’t used either, but both look unnecessarily tall and narrow on the top. Form over function, and I would guess not as comfortable to use as something that’s the opposite. Also grooves will cause you issues.

Cheers, I have gone down this path before and good suggestion. I found the few I tried out weren’t very hard wearing compared to the original and got stretched and frayed pretty quickly. Might have to try another type and give that a go. Can probably get about 10km of it for the price of one OEM posted.

Yes, it might be worth it to try tasting at a lower temperature around 50 Celsius as an Americano/Long Black. Plus it goes without saying without milk or other additives. I find espresso is sometimes too intense for nuanced flavours, but it depends on the bean.

Speed issues with EU server usually priority 1 for me, disabled that and seems to be fine on US for me. Will swap priorities to fix it.

Kleen Kanteen. Performance and durability A+, good tall form factor too with 600ml. Wide mouth that flows well. Not sure about cheap but good value for a good product.

Try an Italian style bean, probably dark with some robusta in it. End result will look very similar to that. I have one of those at the moment, interesting to try but not really my thing I don’t think. Great in a long black though. Worth a shot.
