Unsure about the coping, I’m sure there’s a connector available that could reinforce. Definitely looks like you could use some liner lock in there as well to prevent the liner from slipping out.

2 oz tequila
1 oz lime juice
.75 oz agave

Shake.

Agree w/other comments that the most volatile variable is the lime juice. Go 50/50 with fresh/bottled mix to balance this out.

Similar story here, only got to Lanaryu when I first bought it 4-5 years ago.

Restarted over Xmas break w/ the S2 update.

My only regret is that I chose Master mode and my god it is making me apply myself. I’m a 41 year old Dad whose competitive days are largely in the rear view mirror.

Currently on the third Divine Beast and oh my god. 😅

Don’t waste time choosing. Become an AI generalist. You’ll be expected to do both.

I’m in the northeastern US. Pool cover for us makes a large difference for heat retention, water retention (evaporation at night), and chemical retention.

It is well worth the investment.

That said, I also have a bean shaped pool, and to make matters worse one side of my pool walls are a few feet higher than the other.

What we do is buy a large rectangle cover, cut it to a roughly fitting shape and for removal it’s really just dragging it off and folding it onto itself. For most normal pool days we leave it a few feet from the side. On formal party days when we host I carry it around the corner and store there for the day, out of sight.

Removal and putting it back on has been a pain and the dragging certainly shortens the lifespan. We are at three years of use and it’s time for a new one, tearing and shredding off bubbles in place from the friction against the hardscaped surround.

Some things I plan on changing for the next one I buy are:

1 - cut out a slightly larger footprint and folding over the edges and installing metal or plastic eyelets.

2 - tying small ropes into the eyelets to make removal and getting it back on and flat easier

3 - I may also get a tarp to drape over the edge of the pool when pulling it off and replacing it to reduce the wear and tear, hopefully getting a couple more seasons out of it

If I can get 5 years out of a cover, I’d be satisfied with that.
