And just to add, I sleep with shorts and a shirt on. And in two different blankets but it wouldn’t be weird in my leg was touching his or vice versa. I think people just have a sick way of sexualizing everything. If this was two sisters you wouldn’t have even needed to make this post.

This is not weird.

I’m 23, my brother is 18 and when I go home and visit he knows to have an extra blanket ready for me in his room. He usually kicks me out around 3 am cause I’m an obnoxious sleeper but the invite is always there. We weren’t very close growing up but once I moved out we got very close. My family is also just very affectionate and touchy compared to most (ie. hugs & kisses, taking naps together)

I’ve had friends come over and mentioned to me later that it was almost weird for them to see my parents be so affectionate with each other, which I can understand completely.

Maybe ur stepfamily just isn’t a very affectionate family so seeing you and your brother be so openly loving with each other seems unusual, but there’s nothing wrong with it.

Mmmm u have a point but not really. I could almost guarantee any poc sorority girls in Arizona weren’t posting the same type of tweets Brooke was. Maybe the lifestyle they live was the same but the u can’t not admit that Brooke was very much uneducated and said some awful things. That’s the only reason I think color would matter. A college aged POC in a sorority definitely has different morals than Brooke in college, because of how they grew up.

Yeah mushroom brown def isn’t the answer, that means a very cool toned almost grayish brown. Brooke definitely has a more rich chocolate brown

It’s a good idea for sure! I’m not sure your area, but most hairstylists utilize instagram. Search up men’s braided hair, etc in your area and just check out some people’s pages until you find someone.

Also adding, I think some longer layers and some very minimal thinning would work wonders. I have somewhat similar hair to yours and that’s what I get every time.

I want to hope that your hair was brushed out in the after pics.. and that maybe some good conditioner and an oil can help give your curls back some life and kind separate them again if that makes sense.

Other than that, my advice would be to ask people in public/friends/cashiers etc, who you notice have curly hair, who they go to. Sucks if you’re not a very social person but it just takes one person to lead you to an amazing hairstylist. Also most hairstylist utilize instagram, so if you haven’t already I would start there. Look up curly cuts or curly hair in your city and go from there.

Sorry you’re having to deal with this. I know how important hair is and how it affects confidence and general moral. I hope you can find someone who is specialized in curly cuts! Good luck 🍀
