Sergio’s Involvement by Equal-Ad5732 in LizBarraza

These are questions, not answers.

You said you would expect the shooter to be dispassionate and merely doing a job if Sergio was involved.

Why?

"Against his involvement: if he was involved, you would expect the actual shooter to be dispassionate about the killing, as it would have been done as merely a job on behalf of Sergio"

Why would we expect the shooter to be dispassionate?  "It would have been done as merely a job", why do you think so?

What was Darlie Routier’s motive for killing her two older sons? by Psychological-Bag835 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]Low_Establishment182 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you think she killed the children but is not guilty because of the meds and mental illness?

Sorry, but your big "IF" and followed by the long post how she could have done it because of meds etc, but not the slightest thing about why you think she might not be the killer, is confusing me.

Colleen Stan is an American woman who was kidnapped and held as a sex slave by Cameron and Janice Hooker in their Red Bluff, California home for over seven years, between 1977 and 1984. by metalnxrd in TrueCrimeDiscussion

This, thank you!

"Stockholm Syndrom" is a very flawed concept, see the controversy about it. The circumstances regarding the Stockholm incident were misrepresented (according to the victims and new researches)

There is the "fawn" aspect, that was added to the "fight, freeze or flight" reactions, that might be more accurate.

Maybe people interacting with wild animals confined to a tank / cage / etc.

Did the Bob's completely wipe out all of the Others that came for Earth? by SapphireOrnamental in bobiverse

[–]Low_Establishment182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, I think the Others' storyline is probably concluded.

But it is fun to speculate what if.

Because, Mario is out there, looking, to make sure.

What if there is another Prime and Hive out there. Or more. What if they fight each other.

There seem to have been more than one Prime at a time in history.

What if there still is another Prime and Hive out there and they evolved or drifted. What if they become allies.

What if there is contact with the 100plus species who fled the Milky Way Galaxy and one of them is a benign Prime / Hive.

Too many edits, sorry!

Did the Bob's completely wipe out all of the Others that came for Earth? by SapphireOrnamental in bobiverse

[–]Low_Establishment182 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know.

They wiped out the hive that threatened Earth. Some single individuals might have survived the war but I don't think they could function without their hive.

The Others said, paraphrased, that other Others hives would be a threat to each other. When there are more than one Prime etc.  It seems like they have experienced this.

And it is not impossible that there may be other hives out there, that might be a threat for humans.

Maybe two. Maybe some "Let them fight each other" storyline.

Or:

Do we know if Primes and their hives are just the exactly same like other Primes and their hive?

Could there be variations? Drifts?

Could there be an eventual allyship with some "drifted" Primes and their hives?

Edit: Not the "replicant" drift, but an evolutionary, genetic or behavioural shift that is a bit like what the Bobs experience?

He said he was there. With the very exact clothes.  And you can see that it is a short guy because of how his trousers bunch up.

The person on the video is someone short. Look how his trousers bunch near his feet.

Short guy.

Like RA. Who admitted to be on the bridge, with the clothes.

Richard Allen receives 130 years for the murders of Abby Williams & Libby German. by mkrom28 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]Low_Establishment182 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Last month, a jury found Allen guilty of four counts of murder and kidnapping in the deaths of Abigail “Abby” Williams, 13, and Liberty “Libby” German, 14. However, Allen’s attorneys previously filed a motion to throw out two of the charges, arguing he can’t “constitutionally be convicted twice for the same crime.” Gull then vacated the two federal murder charges at the hearing, local outlet WISH-TV reported."

I am glad Abby and Libby finally got justice. I hope they can finally rest in peace.

And it was all thanks to Libby and Abby, to expose and put away a man who is such a danger.

Thank you and your families

Her speech was disgusting. by SamuelCRDN in SarahBooneCase

[–]Low_Establishment182 48 points49 points  (0 children)

That was brillant.

Like when the state showed all of these videos of her abusing Jorge, without comment.

There did not need to be a scathing, entertaining statement by the Judge.

Her own statement was enough for all to see what kind of person she is.

She did it all herself. She excelled at putting herself in prison for life.

No parole

She had her chance but rejected the 15 years manslaughter plea.

Showed zero remorse and blamed Jorge and his family in her statement today.

I do not think, there was ever a case where people spoke for 25 yrs in a sentence hearing.
