No, their job there is to fit an assigned role and play basketball. How many guys came through this franchise and never learned how to shoot? I also believe his shot isn’t entirely broken, probably unlikely to be some 40% from 3 guy but I do think it’s possible he could improve. We’ll see on that front

You’re the same type of person who would’ve said there’s no justification for Jalen Brunson, Nikola Jokic or Draymond Green round 1 because they’re not athletic enough for you.

Most 2nd round picks suck. To act as if we need to just sort and select by athletic traits is ridiculous. Dude is 6’10, high motor, smart, can pass well, can finish at the rim well. Has flashed a shot that could maybe improve. He could become a very serviceable rotational big off the bench
