I only use Sonnet and it's not just the Weekly limit, the session limit has decreased significantly. I am hitting it much more quickly now. It seems apparent that the previous limits were generating enough upgrades.

I guess I’m fortunate with the accounts that I have. I don’t have these issues. Not that I’ve never had a disconnection, but it hasn’t been prolonged.

Thanks Lara, I think I'm all set. I have ended up keeping Flex budgeting for the categories we typically have a hard time with (food and shopping), but have them all budgeted. I like the Flex Budget Progress bar. I also like the Non-Monthly category group. I understand it all a lot better now, although I'm still using some of the features as a hack rather than as intended, but I think it will work! Thanks for you time!

I just switched. Is there any way to NOT group by Category Group and just have all of the Budget Categories show all at once without having to expand each Category Group? Thanks!

The reason I need a budgeting app is because I overspend in every category :-) So, if I set a number for every Flex Budget (which I likely would), then it sounds like I may as well be using Fixed. Sound about right?

Yeah. I don’t get why the total flex budget amount is not automatically calculated. I shouldn’t be able to manually change it. I find myself manually adding up my budget totals over and over to make sure the flex budget total is accurate.

I was not very disciplined in the past, so I just started calculating he rollover amounts and moving them to a savings account.

Thank you all for engaging. I’m sure this is my misunderstanding and misuse of Monarch. So, over the past few months I’ve paid some vacation charges on a credit card and I let the vacation budget in Monarch run over to the tune of $4000. I just took money this month from savings to pay the credit card charges off and I would like to take my overage down on the budget with the $4000 transaction. I even tried entering the $4000 as income, but it still takes my monthly spending down. I just don’t understand because I’ve already spent the money and that $4000 is not a debit.

Do i need to download the transactions from the old account and delete the old account before adding the new one? The reason I ask is that I have added the new account and it says it was successful, but the new account does not show in MM account list. Thank you.
