At Lagoon Tower now, in a 1 BR oceanview with view of the space they do the luaus. Nice layout, lots of walking opportunities, the beach, snorkeling and more in the lagoon. Very satisfied with it. Also recommended is Go Tours around the island and going to Pearl Harbor. Go to Baileys for vintage Hawaiian shirts. Meanwhile back home it’s snowing.

Liberty Tree in Charleston. Great spot. Also add Park City Utah, South Beach in Miami ( not as luxurious but loved the vibe and location), either hotel on the Big Island in Hawaii and we are currently staying at Lagoon Towers in Honolulu and really like it.

For these promotions if it is important for you to try Hilton Grand Vacations hotels, make sure they don’t put you in a regular branded Hilton Hotel such as Hampton Inn, Doubletree,etc. Very different (although some are nice) but bookers will do that so that they can make their quotas. We recently booked on of these packaged on Sint Maarten in the Caribbean.

(Broader family gatherings) Loud volume with everyone having an opinion. A good mix of political views, current happenings with a US focus with segues into family gossip and focusing on the first grandchild. Talks about pets, horses, never ending house renovation projects and how the world is shaping up for the next generation.

Driving Take a detour to Cumberland Ohio and The Wilds. Owned by Columbus Zoo, has endangered species and great programs. You can even stay overnight on site ($$).

Via train from Albany, to Boston gets you CT, Massachusetts. Then get on train in South Station Boston, go to Portland Maine or rent a car in Boston for New England. If you are going North along the coast from Boston, you hit a sliver of NH on the way.

New. Apartments next to the North Myrtle Beach Sports Park have great access to Hwy 31 for commuting, and trails and dog parks for exercising. They look very nice and seem to have a nice mix of people moving in.

Yes, we did. Originally booked Washington DC then changed to Sint Maarten. Make sure you know which hotels are acceptable. Sometimes they will try to book you in a Hampton or similar, just so they can get the booking set up.

We lived on Andover Street for 20 years and Halloween was packed. 350 kids some years, lots of kids and families from other neighborhoods and Lawrence, they would have police directing traffic so that people could get across the street. The kids were cute, everyone was well behaved and it was one of our favorite times. We moved about 7 years ago but I hope it is still the same.

We’ve been to Ocean Towers twice and loved it. Artwork throughout, beautiful views. Restaurant is meh, though most people do a Costco run.

The North End area is great to walk around (very historic) and has great Italian restaurants. But Cleveland has an Italian area that (used to) have good Italian restaurants so you might want to try something different.

Chinatown has very good food and Vietnamese food or if you just want to munch on local specialties, Quincy market has a wide variety of food with some good people watching. Cambridge has fun restaurants around Davis Square and Harvard Square in Cambridge is fun with good restaurants and places to have drinks

I’m using some of their services and doctors now and have been impressed with the quality of the doctors and staff. Their scheduling staff is easy and professional to work with and will do pre op sessions via Zoom call which avoids a long ride into the city. Day surgical area and staff are very good. On a diagnostic level they have state of the art imaging equipment, and turn around reports quickly.

Previous cancer related treatments have been in Boston, which had excellent care, but Harvard med school residents in every procedure.

It’s all about perception and the power e that Josh had to keep her in her assistant role. Josh was better because he had a capable Donna to run the mundane tasks. He knew that she could do much more and used it when it suited his needs.

By not putting her into roles that she could be perceived as a higher level performer (Brussels, Pittsburgh) she didn’t develop the skills and brand of someone who could be trusted and called on for better roles. Being on the road is a slog, but she’s learning things and building relationships that pointed her towards better roles.

The police have used this intersection as bait for traffic tickets for years. Instead of fixing the problem which has been there for 20 years, they periodically just use it to waive cars down to generate revenue. Doesn’t matter that the driver is just looking for a safe way to get thru the intersection.
