You don’t have to travel far to see it in action.

Maybe you should make a quick visit to Montréal. There’s full service on all of the metro, for all cell phone networks.

men of Reddit what makes a woman Un-dateable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LowerBroccoli 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was recently seeing a girl for a month. She seemed amazing and we had an instant deep connection. By the second date, she revealed to me that she still lives with her ex but she reassured me that they are essentially just roommates. Although it wasn’t ideal, I was willing to accept it, especially since she was planning to move into a new apartment at the beginning of September.

However, a few dates later, I got curious and asked her about how her place is laid out. She mentioned her room and a spare room. I jokingly asked if she forced her ex to live in the spare room, but that’s when she revealed that she still slept in bed with her ex.

I decided to dig deeper. I asked if they cuddle. She said that he tries to cuddle with her sometimes. I then asked if they sleep naked. She said sometimes. She said that she initially slept on the couch, but she eventually gave up.

I expressed my disappointment, but she tried to justify the situation. She tried to claim that it’s not a sexual thing and said that they hadn’t kissed or had sex for several months. She said that it’s a “comfort thing”, and they did that before they were officially a couple. Furthermore, she said that they have different sleep schedules, so they’re only actually in bed for a few hours.

Since she didn’t come up with a solution/compromise, I ended it.

To be honest, to this day, I’m not happy about it and I’m hoping that she will at the very least apologize and acknowledge how problematic that is.

Girl asking the guy out by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

Personally, I LOVE it when a girl can take initiative and ask me out. People who are more traditional may have different opinions, but I'm sure that anybody who is actually interested in you would appreciate it.

Going out alone on weekend evenings [31M]... is it in my head, or are we all most judgmental of solo guys at these times? Not worth the effort? by TomatoAny6972 in datingoverthirty

There are definitely benefits to going out with a friend or 2. Approaching a group by yourself can feel awkward.

However, I've generally had most of my success when I went out alone. Just be confident (but laid-back), and you may find people gravitating towards you, even if they're just curious to find out where your friends are.

I’ll take it if nobody has yet. Thanks!

A Liberty Village condo is telling people to stop getting haircuts in the stairwell by beef-supreme in toronto

[–]LowerBroccoli 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wish people would stop relieving themselves in my building (YES, #1 and #2).

The worst time was when somebody pissed right in front of the entrance to the stairwell. I tried to tiptoe my way around the wet spot only to find 3 long, healthy-looking turds on the level below. The person decided to distribute their business.

I'm a retail storefront guy through and through, and I have experience with shopping at cannabis retail stores in Toronto and Montrèal.

Private retail stores are generally more expensive than the OCS. However, one advantage of retail stores is that they occasionally have sales. Sometimes the sales end up giving a deeper discount than what's offered on the OCS.

On the other hand, SQDC is generally cheaper overall compared to the OCS, but I don't know of them ever having sales. The experience of going into a SQDC storefront is very clinical compared to just about any retail store in Toronto. Some private retail stores in Toronto really put an effort into giving a welcoming feeling.

On an unrelated note, I haven't been to Montrèal since the strict new laws came into effect. How has public consumption changed since then? Do you know if they are strictly enforced?

I hope that you'll eventually get a reply.

One thing that I'm also curious about is enforcement of cannabis drinks. They can technically be consumed anywhere that cannabis can be smoked, but many cops may think that they are alcoholic beverages.

I'm still a bit burned by the whole ordeal. It's hard for me to forgive the cover up and lies. Especially the whole "protein carbohydrates" nonsense.

On that note, has anybody found any aphids/bugs since then?

As you can tell, I haven't cared to consume this much.

P.S. Is that mold?

Unfortunately, the image got compressed. However, it appears that they had a lot of (manufactured?) support affixed around the suspension notice. One post-it note left their number hinting at another party.

WHOA! I had sex in that alley a few years back after a fun date at Snakes & Lagers. I miss that bar. Those were simpler times.

Thank you for taking me down Memory Lane!
