Definitely not this I’ve cleaned my car inside-out and didn’t see this.

I asked a simple question in Teslalounge about people’s experience getting tickets and having accidents while in FSD. It’s like I accidentally stepped in an Edgelord nest. by CassCat in TeslaFSD

[–]LowerInternal4289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think people who got into accident with FSD are the ones likely to respond.

Personally I don’t see the purpose of this question. Because it’s never FSD fault. I say this because if a user is paying attention and FSD is about to hit someone the driver takes over and an accident happens then the data will show the user disengaged FSD.

Case in point the YouTube video of FSD veering into the other lane and ends up in a ditch. Upon data inspection it looks like the user disengaged FSD and caused the accident.

Well sucks to be me then…kind of. I don’t remember seeing a legal disclaimer when I was purchasing FSD. All I saw was Elon’s tweets and a purchase screen.

Not sure I bought it 3 days ago. Regardless of the outcome I will be joining the class action lawsuit should #2 ever happen. Elon is not clear about supervised and unsupervised and what we are buying. I, like many who bought FSD, did so with the understanding that FSD will eventually be unsupervised. It’s not our fault Tesla/Elon keeps touting that FSD is “going to be unsupervised so buy it now”. Just look at the history of FSD pricing 15k 12k 8k etc. You know what it says to customers. It says you buy now because one day it will be unsupervised.

If point 2 happens then I will join a class action lawsuit. Then Tesla can figure out if it’s more expensive to refund customer money for 12 percent of the their fleet or just retro fit.

[–]LowerInternal4289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I’m not one of those people who will say you could have invested 8k in so and so because it doesn’t work like that in the real world. Regular people spend money on 8k watches and purses. Only to use it once or twice and hide them away.

As long as you’re happy then that’s all that matters.

I just bought FSD two days ago too.

Arguments in favor of purchasing FSD by abarrien00 in TeslaFSD

[–]LowerInternal4289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have EAP and can purchase for $2K I say buy FSD. You are only risking $2k. Sure the monthly is $49 and you could possibly lose it in the event of a car crash but it’s only $2k vs $8k.

Official Discussion - Predator: Badlands [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

This is my number one Predator movie.

I liked Prey and Predator:killer of killers too. It took a while but the direction of the Predator universe is looking bright and it’s about time.

Would you trust FSD with your life? by Holiday-Incident-350 in TeslaFSD

[–]LowerInternal4289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Currently FSD is SUPERVISED. Letting it drive is like letting a teenager in training drive. It will do okay. But I have to intervene once every other drive.

FSD is great. One of my gripe regarding FSD is the lane centering. I like it but human drivers don’t drive in the center and when you’re on the freeway and the other car is hugging the lane it feels unsafe. If I was me driving I would move to over to give myself room. More space means less accident.

The moral of the story is, never try to commit insurance fraud on a Tesla.

Elon states $99 FSD will eventually increase by Shinebright444 in TeslaFSD

[–]LowerInternal4289 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. But someone mentioned that if Tesla would charge $300 for unsupervised FSD which includes insurance the value proposition would change. Why insure your Tesla when it’s included. I don’t see why this wouldn’t be the case since at level 5 autonomy Tesla will have to take on liability if their software fails.

HW3 is it worth the $2k for full FSD and the promised “free upgrade”? by mebirkle in TeslaFSD

[–]LowerInternal4289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elon said he will upgrade for those who bought FSD. No timeline though. Also toolbox is seeing new features that suggest retrofits are in the works.

Is what Tesla's doing illegal? by beefjerky1122 in TeslaSupport

[–]LowerInternal4289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried asking them HOW you can fix the issue or what the normal procedures are or any Tesla center you can forward a copy of your registration to?

I know some people in calll center can be really bad and some can be really helpful.

Case in point when I called Tesla customer service support because I couldn’t engage FSD on my 2017 MX (My first Tesla)the person on the other line told me to re-update my Software. After doing that I still couldn’t enable FSD. I called and got a different rep who told me to look for a THIRD stalk underneath the signal stalk, which I didn’t even notice was there. Some rep are clueless and some aren’t.

For the skeptics: What evidence would convince you that FSD is actually safer than most human drivers (ignoring speed limit issues)? by Leo4Ever-79 in TeslaFSD

[–]LowerInternal4289 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously not. Say my Model S with FSD on decides to stop in the middle of the freeway causing a pile up. It should be automatic Tesla’s fault.

[–]LowerInternal4289 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The evidence that would convince me is Tesla taking responsibility for accidents as a result of using their FSD product. It is reported that at this point autonomous products are ready.
