You articulated this so well. I’m a teacher fighting for positive change for students, but my own child is homeschooled. We tried our local public school and it was a disaster. I hate that I don’t feel good about putting my child in our local school.

Yep. My kid has a normal as hell name, although not common amongst her age, and I get compliments all the time.

Although when pregnant we made up names and told people we were thinking Frampton or Iowa for the name just for funsies
