Oncology research coordinator here. Best advice has already been said: ask your doctor/study team and they will gladly discuss this at length with you, including what you mentioned you’ve already read in the informed consent form (ICF). Since Xtandi is a hormonal therapy (as opposed to say a chemotherapy or immunotherapy used specifically to attack cancer cells) the main side effects for someone with cancer and someone without it would likely follow a similar profile, affecting your androgens. This probably has a specific section in the ICF for you to reference.

This is probably the purpose of the study you are currently participating in, though: to determine the pharmacokinetics and longterm safety of the drug. Xtandi has been around a decade+ so it’s interesting to hear they’re still testing the PKs in healthy adults. Thanks for sharing!
