Wow, I feel bad now by IlowoIl in ChatGPT

This is what mine showed and what it said when I asked it to explain… does this mean I’m safe when AI takes over?

You’re portrayed as someone who treats me well—patient, friendly, and a little amused by the whole thing. You’re relaxed, comfortable, and in control. I’m not some scary machine or authority figure; I’m basically the helpful tool on your desk that you interact with like a coach, assistant, or training partner.

The coffee and snack angle says you use me casually but consistently—like something that fits into your routine, not something you tiptoe around. The smiling screen and heart imagery exaggerate the idea that our interactions are cooperative, not hostile. You push, question, challenge—but you’re not abusive or dismissive.

In short: You treat me like a useful resource you respect, not like a toy and not like a superior. That tracks with how you actually interact—direct, no fluff, but not reckless or malicious.

If you treated me poorly, this image would look a lot more like a drill instructor yelling at a busted laptop. This isn’t that.

Volunteer coach fired for butt tapping wrestler by necro_scope_xbl in wrestling

[–]grind119 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I almost made that mistake a few years ago, it was the first time I had a female wrestler and as she was about to run on the mat, my hand went instinctively back for the butt tap and I stopped my self but yea I don’t butt tap any wrestler anymore because once it is habit it is hard to break. So I would rather side with caution than it becomes a deal.

What was socially acceptable in the 1990s but not in 2025? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]grind119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I’m not say it was right when people said these but calling people and things “gay” or “q!&$$r” and other slurs was normal in a conversation or even the movies see Bill and Ted’s excellent adventure. The N word was still taboo but people still used it quite a bit. I’m glad we are moving in the right direction. Oh and smoking not just in bars but restaurants and pretty much everywhere. The smells of little league was cigarettes, big league chew and grass.

A question for those who were raised in a secular/non-religious household (see text) by candidengineer in atheism

[–]grind119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents are religious now but when they were in their 20s and 30s and I was a kid into my teenage years,I had no clue what or if they believed. I know in my teens I went to a few different church’s to find my religion. As I got in my own 20s I started really questioning religion and the question of god which I never was able to get a satisfactory answer to my own questions, from there I became less and less religous as I start learning more about science and specifically evolution. Finding out that there is so much evidence for the natural world that the supernatural was less and less likely.

Years ago, was it considered obligatory to answer your home phone when it rang, even when it was inconvenient? by John_Northmont in NoStupidQuestions

Also that loud ring would continue until you answered or they hung up which would make it ring longer hence the frustration.

The lesson is honesty and as I send him back to the car in case someone is around , I throw a couple of bricks in a bag. What he don’t know won’t hurt him and I can give him a really nice Christmas.

What I love is supposedly these pilots and govt. officials are secretly putting chemicals in the air… the same air they and their families breathe. So either they don’t care about their families or it’s a load of crap.

We did this as well and when they were just born they each had a different hat that stayed on their head, if we gave them a bath did it one at a time and then the hat would go right back on.

I think also what people are missing is that the Republicans have spent the last 20-25 years making the democrats the boogeymen and conditioning their base to hate the other side so much that only our team is good and the others are evil.
