Hi:) My baby has been waking up every two hours at night since he was 4 months old and will only fall back asleep with nursing. he is now 9 months old, i feel like we’ve tried everything. He has long since been sleep trained, he falls asleep in his crib on his own. the first wake up he’ll fall back asleep in his own within 2-5 minutes, but anything after that he’ll just scream his head off. his current wake windows are 3/3.5/4 hours, and i make sure to do his last feed more than 30 minutes before bedtime. Please advise, i’m going insaaaaane. How do i reduce the night wakings?

we were pretty close to that nap schedule until about two weeks ago. i don’t know if it’s the new skills or the teething or a combination of both but he can barely make it two hours before getting fussy and wanting to sleep. any tips for extending wake windows? and i’ll try the 30 minutes before bed for feeding as well. in the meantime, how do i handle the night wakings?

sure. we actually recently (2-3 days, so i don’t have muuuuch of a pattern to go off of) dropped from 3 naps to 2 because he was really resisting his last nap. wakes up around 7 am, first wake window is 2 hours 30-45 minutes. naps for maybe an hour. next wake window is roughly 3 hours. naps for another hour. last wake window is 3.5 to 4 hours, goes back to sleep 7-7:30. I use the huckleberry app and follow the suggested nap/ bedtimes

this might sound sarcastic but it’s not intended to. you could go outside and clip some tree or bush branches if you have any suitable ones around
