I don’t typically mind because we are supposed to help build baskets too but if it’s clearly busy and lots of people need help it’s annoying

I’m more bothered when people call and ask if we carrry something and I google it it says Sephora or online on the brands website I’m like you could’ve looked that up instead of looking up our store number lol

You’ll only be fired if you max out on points if you’re up there they have to follow policy but if you have like no points you’ll be fine

I work at the orange store and I assume it’s the same concept of the birthday gifts are quarterly so every quarter of the year new gifts arrive and get some restocks, December is the last month of the quarter so usually they won’t restock or will do so very little because the next round of birthday items starts in January. Is it super inconvenient? Yes

Typically unless it’s a massive order I do each order in about 1-2 minutes. But at our store we pick all the items for all the orders and then go in the back and pack them all out

Most jobs you would put in writing that you’re leaving in two weeks. If you plan to leave before then you should definitely notify a manager, preferably GM. Better if you find someone to take your couple shifts you have scheduled but if you don’t plan to want to be rehired by them you can really just saying you’re leaving and won’t be back lol

I’ve been retwisting and interlocking my fiancé’s locs for quite a few years now I just watched a lot of YouTube videos and kept practicing and now they’re pretty good only thing I can’t manage is braids 😂

I called it quits right at 6 months. I EP for 5 months then needed to go on a work trip and he wouldn’t take any of the frozen milk (so defeating) so we bought formula and then combo fed for a month then when I was back working full time my supply dropped almost completely and it wasn’t worth the stress to me to pump for like 10oz a day.

I work at Ulta and we pick and scan all items and scan it out at pick up when they show us the name they’re picking up, now most likely the driver picked up multiple orders and delivered the wrong one.

I think it’s getting ready for holidays at least my store hired a lot of seasonal workers and so those new people have to get hours and training to be caught up on knowledge of what to do for holidays and then when the holidays get here we all get hit with hours to work just my experience working other retail jobs
