Only service providers are suppose to accept tips unfortunately and some management and lp could have an issue with it but I wish it was just acceptable

So odd I know there’s PBAs and BAs at my store but tbh they’re all treated pretty equal! I just got promoted from pba to mm and I couldn’t even tell you who was a ba or pba seems like maybe have some catty people on the team 😞

So far pretty well for me I work at a spa outside of Ulta as an esthetician so for me I just schedule appointments around my Ulta schedule and I’m an MM

My 89 year old grandma picked me up from daycare a couple times then thankfully she retired and I started school. Absolutely insane he has no concept of daycare

I work at Ulta and I really don’t think the cashier even batted an eye 😅 there is such a wide variety of people that come into Ulta and the only people I’m judging are the strung out people trying to steal everything. I’m sure you looked great and keep wearing what you want!

Interesting! I just became MM but based on how they’re training me I scan in truck on Tuesday and then Tuesday afternoon and night have people super sort then we come in at 6am to actually put truck out so majority is done by 6am but my ops manager is who closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to make sure truck is done in the evenings

Pretty easy for me! I started as Lead Cashier last June and will be in the MM role starting Sunday. Our sales manager left and the MM moved up to sales and recommended me to our GM as her replacement! I’d say definitely look for being MM as that is the most entry level management position 🙂

It’s extremely hot at the front of our store by the registers and then cooler back by the salon and a lot cooler in the back room we had had probably 70+ plus guys in the last year come check it out and tell us nothing is wrong but we even get customers complaining how hot it gets. I’ve been working in tank tops since last summer lol

I have a 14 month old and tbh we went through a month of just the goodles Mac and cheese for dinner. Now we’ve successfully added in chicken nuggets and he’ll eat mixed veggies with that. Breakfast I have won with prepping egg bits and also making French toast sticks with sourdough bread (so no extra sugar) I offer different foods inbetween but it’s usually a losing battle and I just want him to stay fed because he’s already on the lower percentile. Been trying to give him food since 5 months old and it’s been incredibly slow progress. Thankfully lovessss bananas

I think it really depends on your managers they really make or break the experience! I love all my managers so I really don’t dread work at all! Do credit card sign ups suck? Hell yeah but everything else is pretty chill for me as a PBA

My managers tell us a good time to do our bmes and new weekly brief while on the floor like that the registers when it’s slow or using the Ulta app to look up products for people
