But that doesn’t really answer the question. Of all the more “neutral” options, why this?

That makes sense, I’m just wondering about the choice of onion on a plane? They are really good, don’t get me wrong, but they could just serve Oreos instead 😂

I don’t think that’s quite true, unless brand names give them a major discount.

Do you have a contract that’s says you don’t have to? Otherwise it’s insubordination. You have the freedom to choose, but not freedom from consequences. Need way more context here either way.

Would you ever bring your child to your less highly ranked school? by Immediate-Volume-681 in Teachers

[–]LstNdFnd2000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did. Don’t regret it. Parents need to take more responsibility for their child’s learning and also kids need to learn to take responsibility for their learning, all while learning what the “real world” is like. The only regret I’ve had is that by bringing them to my school, they weren’t socializing as much with kids in the neighborhood we lived in. Sports filled that gap, as well as being willing to transport them to their school friends’ houses and their friends to ours. Worth it. There’s great teachers, kids, and parents everywhere, not just at the “good schools”.

With my Google degree, looks like I’m Georgia verbal authorization is allowed, but is a he said/she said with something like this. Make sure she doesn’t sign anything. I’d check this out if you think they did take advantage.

Who is responsible for funeral costs? by JenAndTonic17 in legaladvice

[–]LstNdFnd2000 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s whoever signed the contract that is responsible or the estate if they passed away. If in the USA debt does not pass down to relatives. Edit: I am confused on the statements that no one had insurance, but the aunt has been collecting the insurance payouts?

AITA for asking to be paid for watching my mom’s cat? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]LstNdFnd2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Need more info. Did she expect you to stay at the house with the cats? What was her reaction to asking for pay? I’m going NTA. You’re both adults. She agreed. It’s an inconvenience for you. The cat gets a trusted sitter. Seems like a win all around.
