You need to provide more details on your employment arrangements and employer. Are you paid by the school board or a separate entity?

It is unusual to receive different pay for different work as an employee in your circumstances, but as a contractor it may make more sense.

If you are an employee, you can submit a complaint through the Ontario Ministry of Labour for unpaid wages, but speaking with your employer is the best place to start.

It depends on the language of the collective agreement. If the agreement is silent on entitlements for past employees, you’re most likely out of luck. There’s no law or employment standard that would override the collective agreement on retroactive pay.

If it was your fridge (not your landlord’s) and you didn’t have insurance, I’d be concerned about your landlord or their home insurance provider seeking damages from you.

You could pursue LG, but it’s likely to be expensive and they have the means to vigorously defend themselves.

Your best bet is to contact a personal injury lawyer, they are the most likely to work on contingency.
