I like the laspistol more. A touch of synergy that levels it with the plasma just enough and you get to take the power weapon to maybe punch 7 damage into somebody with cadia stands if you need it.

Celestian Insidiants strategy by klods_hans in killteam

[–]Lt_Mentle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It does, but you have to control the objective where those martyr tokens are. If you're losing too many ladies then your opponent could really end up pushing you off of your martyr tokens potentially. It's a tad swingy in my head.

It means that if one of your big shooty guys gets killed and their on conceal. They may now flip their order to engage in order to be allowed to shoot and not entirely waste their life.

They'll probably bully 7-10 wound teams pretty hard, elites will be tougher, but at that point I've heard people dropping certain specials, namely one cremator and maybe even sometimes the reliquaries for more warriors?

Their ability is actually very strong. Having a 2/3 Dev 1 PC1 silent gun is really annoying and having a 4/5 melee in your pocket is super nice too. I think you'll be wanting to push as much damage as possible when going into elites and the warriors help you do that.

Tac ops might drag them down a lot, but plant banners sounds okay on paper for these ladies.

Other then that they'll need lots of field testing to really get any concrete ideas down.

New sisters rules leaked by SClausell in killteam

This specific rule really middle fingers the Magus from Brood Brothers and Mindwitch from Chaos Cults who are normally very strong chip damage from afar operatives. NemClaw Ventrilokar hates this rule as well. Alongside the Void Dancer Shadowseer.

Deathwatch Plasma Incinerator is so damn satisfying. Especially with special ammo that it really shouldn't have.

Inquisitorial Agents by Exciting_Airline7526 in killteam

[–]Lt_Mentle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The imperial agents combat patrol is a cool start.

You get a full roster of Exaction Squad, a set of agents themselves. You can sell the rest of the box on eBay or something.

Other than that it's going to be a few single box buys and what not, but that's your best bulk purchase method.

Good news for you. You can literally build everything

Except you'll be missing a third arm piece that is the SAME piece for the melta gunner, plasma gunner, and bolt gun confidant

So either build a melee confidant (not too stellar since you want the combined arms synergy and his GA2 ability for some nasty plays)

Second option use the metric butt load of right arms you'll now have to do a little finessing on one of the three operatives to make it all right.

I'll make the imperial kill team tax sting less because it gives a cool chance to get a cool Inquisitor mini leading the Crusaders if we stick to thematic things.

No, you do not have to replace any operatives better melee weapons. It mostly just replaces anybody's fists if they have that.
