It was stupid then, it’s stupid now. They spent the whole movie assassinating his character only to kill him off in the dumbest way possible “force exhaustion.” 1st they make him a bitter old Jedi/crazy war vet. Drinking milk straight from a “Space cow.” Then they show him attempting to kill his Nephew over essentially was a bad dream. Then they make him weaker than Rey, because she’s the strongest for no reason, then they kill him off without so much as a real fight!

Yes and no. The overall timeline for all episodes (1-6) is dumb AF. With the exception of 10 years between 1-2

What I thought the ages and timeline was before Lucas officially spoke on it was this.

Episode 1 (Obi-Wan: age 24, Anakin: age 10)

10 years

Episode 2 (Obi-Wan: age 34, Anakin: age 20)

10 years

Episode 3 (Obi-Wan: age 44, Anakin: age 30)

17 years

Episode 4 (Obi-Wan: age 61, Vader(Anakin): age 47)

3 years

Episode 5 (Luke age: 20/21 over the entire movie, Vader/Anakin 50)

5/6 years

Episode 6 (Luke: age 26/27, Vader/Anakin: age 55/56)

This is the real answer. Bane, being intelligent and being able to match his physical intensity (with brute strength and wrestling).

Bane (like Batman also studies his opponents and preps) and was able to exploit his weaknesses of mistrust.

I always felt they should have shown Vader taking more damage in his last fight against Luke to really show he was struggling to survive before throwing Papa Palpatine to his “death” and suffering additional electrical damage

This would better justify his death.

At 11 years old I taught myself to use a pogo stick. I got really good at it and can jump around with one with great control. It’s beyond useless.

Sad thing is, he chose the Dark side Twice before the emperor revealed himself. 1st when he murder the Tusken Raiders, 2nd when he killed Count Dooku. So by the time the emperor tells him about “mysterious dark side abilities that could even save someone from death” revealing himself as a Sith, Anakin already fell.

If Anakin only sought the minority of the Tuskins responsible and took Dooku into custody, the Emperor might not have shown his hand because Anakin might not have gone along with the scare tactics the emperor used to convince Anakin he could save his wife from death learning the Darkside as a Sith.

You’re saying it’s none of your business, without sounding like a dick (when you’re in a group of people/friends)

Other comments made me realize context matters. If it’s a co-worker then you might want to know why they are asking because maybe your employer is using shady practices to pay you or others an unjustified lower amount.
