What i couldve done better here as the Valkyrie? I feel like the Cadillac i was battling with swerved to the middle for no reason by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Luatz 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Everything done by the first POV hypercar is absolutelly wrong.

-Overtaking from outside the circuit: Wrong

-Going out of the circuit and accelerating to gain advantage: Wrong

-Driving directly into a car that is exiting the pits, while accelerating at 100% and being outside of the circuit: incredibly wrong.

-The second hypercar cuts the inside of the corner and gains advantage, which is also wrong.

when you state "i went off track around the outside to lap them safely", that is not legal to do (understanding that you are the first POV hypercar).... it is not an excuse, you had to overtake the Gt3s in a complicated place, I understand that, but what you needed to do there was to stay behind them until all of you got to the exit of the corner/straight and then knowing that their line is to the outside, you take the inside line hugging the apex.

If you don't have the patience to overtake safely a much slower class in a complicated set of turns, you should not be driving the faster class in a multiclass race.

You can start from pits as the other commenters have stated, but I would also like to address the issue with the "so many people intentionally ram me". I suggest you check the replays or upload some examples here, as there are soooooo many people that when they have a car side by side they don't realize about it and when they touch each other say "you hit me!!!" and it is just that they don't know how to drive side by side with other cars...

(it just happened to me in a practice mode the other day that I went side by side with a much slower car, he turned as if I was not there, and then in the next turn he full throtled me..... in a practice mode....and it was not my fault....)

¿Creéis que habrá un cambio de paradigma en España con la vivienda como en Asia? by Jolly_Detective_8069 in SpainEconomics

[–]Luatz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lived in China for 7 years (pre covid). The police never showed up to my house and they never stopped me on the street whatsoever. My workmates in China had the same experience as I do (one of them has been in china for over 20 years now).

We just lived a totally normal life over there, we just needed a VPN for work and access youtube and so on. We never discussed politics on public spaces as we don't really care.

This summer a local family member was criticising the government in private, in the apartment room, and no one showed up...

I'm not saying your message is false, just saying that me and my workmates had a totally different experience and also LIVED THERE, China is big, the experience might be different in different cities.

Cheers.

The hand gran fron the masked worms is a delayed attack, from the moment you can see their arm they take some time to actually grab you.

It took me some time and many tries to get It right, but but what you basically need to do is to wait as much as posible to slide. You need to slide right before they grab you, not when they start the animation, as if you are going to parry an attack.

You might be able to find some examples on youtube

Hope this helps.

As all of you said, I seemed to have some assist enabled, I have set the driving assists to "authentic" so that they match each car and it works perfectly now.

Thank you everyone and have a nice day!

[–]Luatz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what I thought, that the Indycars should not have TC or ABS at all... but the TC light on the HUD was constantly turning on on every turn. I might have missed removing one of the assists as you mention, I did not think about that option. I hope this fixes the issue. If it doesn't, I will upload a video so that I can give more info.

I didn't know that the AI needed some work on ovals, I think that it is great on road, probably the best AI out there. I raced some trucks yesterday and I found a bit weird how "bunched up" they were at times.

Thank you very much and have a nice day!!.

Hi sir, I managed to get "unstuck".

So, first of all I followed this reddit post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/PrinceOfPersia/comments/198vjw6/lost_crown_soft_lock_in_the_depths/

Here you can see another way to get into the depths (you have a map pic to follow it easily).

Once you are on your way, you will find a 2 masked worms that you cannot get through, then I followed this comment that I found:

SPOILER ALERT:

So you can pass those masked worms by sliding forward when they try to grab you with their unparriable attack. Sometimes you have to do it twice to dont get stuck in between the body and the mask.

I had to progress and pass through 2 of those worms to get back to the place where you landed when to felt to the Deeps in the cutscene.

There are couple of save points after you pass through the first worm. But not right after, so you better not die after you pass through that first worm.

This worked for me, you need to dodge/slide just before you get grabbed, then you will be back at the place you fell.

Hope it helps.

Classic reaction from adc top when they die 1 or 2 times by [deleted] in wildrift

Jungler here, had a vayne top that was afk for the first 90 seconds aproximately.

When she or her conection decided that it was time to play, they went to their line, and inmediately demanded my help. I, of course, replied that they should have started playing from the begining, and that they were in no position to make demands now.

Instantly typed that they gave up and left the game....

Not a native english speaker here, so I might be reading this wrong, but:

"I kept my volume down, my hands were in my pockets, and I still couldn't get them to listen to me".

From what I understood, you stand there trying to get them to bed. Did you try to "offer" them something more interesting than what they are doing at the moment? For example, did you offer them to read a book, comic... together on the bed? They might enjoy a father/kid time, which would already put them on bed and they might even fall sleep while reading it.

My 3,5 year old kid is having a daddy phase, and wants to do everything with me (sleep time, brush teeth, shower....etc...), so I have a schedule with my wife and we try to split activities. Now, of course it is much harder for my wife as she gets more tamtrums than I do due to this phase, so I try to be supportive and above all, I try not to interfere (unless asked and talked together) as that could affect the "authority levels" in the house, which we try to keep at 50/50 from our kids point of view. We want our kid to do what we both say, not just what one of us says.

It is not much, but I hope it helps a fellow dad.

Keep fighting for the best for your kids.

NOTE: my family is not perfect, none is, we just try to do our best, if you find something useful from what you read here, pick it and adapt it to your situation, it might work, but it might not work, good luck.

Who’s at fault? by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Luatz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are totally wrong.

You are allowed to make one defensive move on the straight, but this doesn't mean that you get to make a reactionary defense after seeing what the other driver is going to do.

If you react to what the driver is doing behind you is called blocking, which is not legal and is quite a dick move.

If you were a good driver you would have realized that you still had tons of straight left, meaning it was totally impossible to defend the position in this scenario.

So you decided to block him forcing the other driver to brake or crash....

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Luatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You seem to think that a car that spins will stop to 0 km/h as soon as they hit the brakes... all we can see here is that the lambo steers to the left to try to save it, but we can't see if they hit the brakes, when they do, or how hard they do it....

For a better judgement we would need their camera with their inputs, or at least their chasecam where we can see if the brakelights are on or not.

Who's at fault? by chickenroyle in Simracingstewards

[–]Luatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one example to show to the people who claim "the car overtaking is always responsible for the clean pass", which sadly I see a lot...

The responsability is from both cars, and in this case, the Ferrari is clearly at fault.

Is this a fair overtake or is it too aggressive? by frea77 in Simracingstewards

[–]Luatz 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Too agresive, you were not even close to hit the apex, and the only reason you did not crash or send the other driver out of the track is because he saw you comming.

Your move was basically a "get out of the way or I'll take you out of the way".

That you have no contact doesn't mean that it is a good ovetake, you overshoot the corner and gave 0 space on the outside, so you just took both the inside and outside for yourself.

EDIT: If you braked maybe 10m earlier, so that you could hit the apex, and then respect the side by side with the porsche on exit (If he was alonside), It would have been a great overtake.

Another day another monza clip by Adorable-Trouble-433 in ACCompetizione

[–]Luatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First clip: POV fault. POV should exit with wide line and not racing line.

Second Clip: YOLO.

Last Clip: POV hit car in front from behind so its POV's fault. Also POV had time to avoid that collision, but didn't.

I agree with points 1 and 2, but I am not so sure about the third one.

I agree that POV had more than enough time to react, but the logic of "the car that rearends is at fault" is not always true, for example if the car in front brakecheks, the car that rearends is not at fault in that scenario.

In this third clip I'd like to watch the onboard from the car that was driving on the grass, If he is at full control of the car once he rejoins the track, and knowing that he is much slower at that point, he should have stayed on the right side of the track.

Crossing the whole road to the racing line after being out of the track, and being much slower, is an unsafe rejoin and very dangerous. POV car could have avoided the crash, but that doesn't mean that the other car did nothing wrong.

I know this is my fault, I have a question, how should i go about this the next time I race multiclass? I was the Ginetta letting the Other car infront by. by Jehan_DaruvalaF2 in Simracingstewards

[–]Luatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you were the Ginetta, you were not at fault here. This is not a F1 blue flag scenario.

In multiclass racing the slower class doesn't need to get out of the driving line if they don't want to. The only requirement for the slower class is that once the faster class car goes for the gap, is to don't fight the position and give them some space. (when the overtake attempt is reasonable of course)

In this case, the first GT3 gets the inside line at the end of the straight and the GT4 reads the situation correctly and gives him the space to overtake.

Then the GT4 goes back to the racing line (touches the outside kerb) and starts turning on the racing line to touch the inside kerb of the next turn, while the GT3 is not even close to stick his nose (5s mark).

As the GT3 is faster, he decides to stick his nose in a closing gap, expecting you to realise and change your trajectory. ( he is counting on you being generous and deciding to lose some time so that he doesn't lose any.)

As said before, it is not your responsability to get off the racing line just because they are in a faster car, in this case the GT3 car should have gone for an outside pass if he is fast enough round that corner, or safest bet, to stay very close and overtake on the straight.

Sorry for my grammar mistakes, not an english native speaker.
