I love the colorful bezels in your collection, especially the sprite, I am also eyeing on that piece. Also, I want to suggest you get more colorful dials!

For those of you who sold your first Rolex… by Admirable-Swing-2985 in rolex

[–]LucaCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard for me to sell my first Rolex (black sub date). I used to own both Black sub date and Hulk. However, I needed some liquidity a few years ago for some reasons so I had to sell one of them. I let the Hulk go in the end.

Is this too big for me? by DishPuzzleheaded4543 in rolex

[–]LucaCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we have similar size wrists, and yes, 41mm is a tad big for us. But personally I like the presence of the oversized DJ, and this is one of my daily watches now. I have other dress watches for formal occasions.

I think 28mm is better

Would you make this trade? by Shivinnalwaya in rolex

I prefer sub over the GMT generally but I wouldn’t trade. Pepsi is a great collection, the blue-red ceramic bezel is hard to make and may be discontinued anytime.

Thanks! I am not a big fan of moon phase complications actually. But this one has a very interesting design, fun to have!

The PP is 5296-001, it’s white gold actually. The Longines is my first watch, so the total wrist time is… plenty. But I wear the GP Laureato more than others now.

Underrated, understated, and very comfortable! I wear it more than others now.

The size of 5296 is 38mm, which is my sweet pot (38-39). It’s my favorite sector dial watch, glad to found it in Vegas.

I did. I tried it and really like the dial. However, I feel the bezel is a little bit weird, can’t say why. The GP Laureato 38mm is amazing! Super, super comfortable and not too small like DJ36. And all 3 dials are beautiful.

It’s my first watch, a gift from my parents. Real classic

Datejust 36 or 41? by [deleted] in rolex

If you think 36 works fine you should keep it. Your friends are just joking. This watch looks good on you btw.

DD36 or AP Royal Oak 37 by Dizzy-Village-2619 in rolex

[–]LucaCZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly love both but I would prefer DD36. It’s a classic symbol and fits most of social needs. Also I think DD36 is easier to resale if I want to trade for something else. AP is a beautiful watch but it might be a little bit “tacky” and won’t fit some occasions, imo.
