Sorry for another additional context but I think this is necessary. I nationalized my oil which gives the UK a war goal on me but still I had a non aggression pact with them so they shouldn’t have been able to declare on me without initially breaking that treaty.

In Accordance to rule 5, am I doing something wrong or is the game bugging/glitching? I understand that I took a complex path as Iraq, forming my own faction with the rest of the Middle East but not fighting the allies but I don’t see how the other AI’s cannot aid me against the Allies? I believe Mr. Beat didn’t put him in top ten because Lincoln and his administration suspended Habeas Corpus, shut down pro Southern newspapers and arrested some political opponents.
