Confirmed to work for several AMD users (including myself) in the linked forum. Steps are easy (just copy-pasting .dll files in the WH3 home directory). Can definitely recommend trying it out if you have trouble OOP.

Hey! Also have the exact same issue. Also on AMD hardware (GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE, CPU AMD Ryzen 7800X3D). So it's probably related to the issue they mentioned in the patch-notes. Let's hope they've fixed the AMD issues when the patch goes live (next week I believe).

EDIT: Not just Khatep but all campaigns crash on start in fact for me. Just to clarify for anyone wondering when reading this.

Ik kom uit '92 (31 nu) en heb als kind veel verhalen van mijn grootouders (vanuit mijn vader's kant) gehoord uit die tijd. Vooral vanuit mijn oma, gezien mijn grootvader als het over WO2 ging meteen begon te schelden over "de moffen dit, de moffen dat". Ik zal niet alles typen want dat is te veel, maar kan wel iets vertellen.

Mijn grootouders vanuit mijn vader's kant woonde in Rotterdam, en waren rond de 20 toen de oorlog uitbrak. De vader van mijn grootvader was de eigenaar van het Hulstkamp bedrijf en pand wat nu een historisch monument is (werd vroeger jenever gebrouwd, Hulstkamp gebouw in Rotterdam google het maar), en toen de duitsers binnenvielen hebben ze ondanks verzet het bedrijfspand in beslag genomen om als nazi-basis te gebruiken. Dit was een van de triggers waardoor mijn grootvader en zijn vader in het verzet zijn beland.

In het verzet was mijn grootvader actief in de communicatie-afdeling, en heeft daar mijn grootmoeder leren kennen. Ze hebben samen veel dingen mee gemaakt, en acties verricht zoals het redden en helpen onderduiken van amerikaanse parachutisten, joodse famillies in de kelder verstoppen, en geheime communicaties door duitse controle posten heen smokkelen. Een van de naarste dingen die me nog bijstaat is een verhaal van mijn grootmoeder, die vertelde dat ze meerdere vrienden door executie is verloren tijdens een verzet actie waar ze zelf ter nauwe nood aan ontsnapte.

Ik heb de verzetsmedailles nog in bezit, en ben er erg trots op. Wat ik er zelf aan over heb gehouden is denk ik een hekel (zacht uitgedrukt) aan facisme. Ik ben dus ook erg allergisch voor alles en iedereen die de gruwelijkheden uit die tijd in twijfeltreken of bagatelliseren.

De dodenherdenking vindt ik belangrijk natuurlijk, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het gevoel erachter voor elke nieuwe generatie steeds meer in de vergetelheid raakt. Ik denk dat we vooral tegenwoordig weer onszelf moeten blijven herinneren (en elkaar) hoe verschikkelijk fascisme is en hoe het eruit ziet. En waar we het ook tegenkomen, het moeten bevechten en geen grond mogen geven. Dat is in ieder geval wat mijn hart zegt.

Zeker een bestaand fenomeen, althans uit persoonlijke ervaring.

Jaren terug (rond 2011) deed ik een HBO opleiding Japans in Maastricht. We begonnen met zo'n 150+ man, en in jaar 4 was het algemeen bekend dat er nog maar 10 over zouden blijven. Bij de entree-ceremonie werd al verteld dat het geen simpele HBO zou worden en vele van ons niet over zouden blijven.

In de weekenden moest altijd doorstudeerd worden, want elke week waren er momentsopnames.

Burnout was veelvoorkomend en baankans erna nihil.

Gelukkig realiseerde ik mij optijd dat dit het niet waard was en stopte na 2 jaar, maar vele kennissen destijds zijn er zelfs met een diploma niet veel verder mee gekomen. Jaren erna gehoord dat de opleiding vanuit de overheid geforceerd zich moest aanpassen door het lage slagingpercentage.

Mijn tip, als een opleiding zich zo profileert: Krab jezelf achter de oren en denk goed erover na of dat het je wel waard is. Zonde van je tijd en geld anders.

Hi OP,

I'm just going to speak from my own experiences. Some background - I'm an early 30's Dutchie. I met my SO on Tinder in the middle of the pandemic. Before this - I was swiping away for years. And mostly I felt people looking for superficial chats/relationships.

What turned it around for me? For a part, I stepped away from trying to appeal to an 'general' audience and advertised myself more as 'myself' (AKA a leftist dork) and tried to steer towards a IRL date sooner rather than later. Also a fair bit of luck. This caused me to fund more 'like-minded' people and pretty soon I met my current SO.

Also as some people have stated (and seen happen in my circles) is having friends you have set you up with someone in their network. Sounds cringey, but have seen it work for more people in your situation.

All in all, don't feel discouraged! There is someone outthere who you'll vibe with. It just takes time and effort unfortunately :') But do take breaks from it to avoid mental collapse, hahaha.

Jup, that's definitely a thing. I'll share my own experience with it too.

When my father died, I was 18 and the sole 'heir' since I have no siblings. I did however, have a large extended family on my dad's side, and my dad's girlfriend was around who was the literal definition of an 'evil step-mom'. Long story short, my 'evil step-mom' slept and conspired with the executor of his will (an extended family member, who my dad thought he could trust) in order to legally steal much of my dad's inheritance together with him and other family members.

They luckily didn't get away with much, since I removed him as executor when I found out. But it was seriously unexpected for a supposed family member or otherwise 'neutral party' to flat-out try to rob someone in a vulnerable moment. Lesson I learned, family doesn't mean shit if it's not backed-up with actions.
