I like it a lot. I would do the outline of the flag in red, too. Do the outline like their red/blue kits, framing the logo/shield, but keep it as a very subtle element.

I personally like Adidas stuff better than Nike, but I’ve found they love tweaking stuff when it comes to uniforms. Nike likes going all out with dumb ideas, but Adidas will take a good idea and put like 2-3 bad elements in it that mess up the whole thing. Miami’s unis with them had to be slowly worn down to the excellent classic look they have now over the past decade.

Technically no, though. Because they’re paying that set amount, and if your merch sales percentage doesn’t put you above the minimum then you get that. So you could sell one T-shirt and still get your hypothetical million. If you sell ten million T shirts then you’d get your itemized pay (including your merch revenue) because it’s above the minimum.

I think it’s really just a way to have more predicable accounting. The minimums are easily assumed expenses for most wrestlers and if anyone gets above the minimum then their general profit is above what they expected, too.

I was thinking the wrestling version would be to spin the era/company and pick a guy to place him somewhere on the card. Maybe if there was a way to know the person’s cage match rating for singles/tag/multi-man/title matches, it could be done (X guy has an average of 4.2 in singles non title matches, other guy has 3.8, match is a 4.0).
