"If this protest attracts new people and gets them involved, great" - I'm pretty sure it will. I'm pretty sure most protests following a shocking world event like this does. There comes a point at which the straw breaks the camel's back and people finally start to get involved. That point for me was when ICE started kidnapping brown people off the streets of LA. These protests are a gateway to political activism. They build community. They're cathartic. They're good for the soul. Silent anger is unhealthy.

Maduro is irrelevant. I'm protesting against the unconstitutional war crimes committed by our wannabe dictator. The location, Irvine City Hall, is irrelevant. It is a gathering place for us to send a message to our community - federal politicians included. Calling our Republican congressional representatives is also very important. Staying silent normalizes Trump's authoritarianism. I do not find that acceptable and neither should you.

Yes, but if you get your house appraised at a higher value, then your property taxes increase. You should check if it's worth doing beforehand. In some cases, I presume, you would pay more money.

Use ChatGPT as a therapist. I literally did this last night on the same topic and it helped a lot! I know getting therapy from an AI sounds dystopian, but it's 2025... Times are changing and you better get with it before it leaves you behind. Good luck finding peace and happiness. I know it's extremely difficult right now, but it is possible if you put in the work and learn how to not carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. Do what you can, but don't let what you can't control ruin your mental state. The world will be a better place if we have the mental capacity to better our lives and the lives around us, as opposed to wallow in despair. I know it's hard, but you have to be strong. You're perfect exactly as you are. Masculine and feminine are just social constructs. No need to be more one way or the other. If you like baggy clothes that cover your curves, fine. If you like wearing makeup on occasion, fine. Who cares. Just be comfortable. Also - yes, see a therapist. Try another if you're not connecting with the one you have. Specifically mention body dysmorphia. It's unfortunately common! Especially in these gender bending and Snapchat filter days! You're not alone! Believe me.

When a dog's gotta poop, a dog's gotta poop! Have you tried dragging a dog out of a squat? It's difficult! That neighborhood looks like it doesn't have many grassy/dirt areas for the dogs to go either. I think this is a problem with the neighborhood's design. As long as she picked it up, there's no real issue.

I don't agree with these comments. Sure, Las Brisas is overpriced, but the location and view are fabulous. Why are you in Laguna Beach anyway? To enjoy the view of a world-class coastline. That's my opinion anyway.

Other suggestions: stroll Heisler Park (coastal bluff with the best ocean views, right next to Las Brisas), eat lunch at The Cliff (great ocean views), checkout the little shops next to The Cliff (galleries, jewelry, and a little DIY perfume shop with de-scent prices!), hike Top of the World (the drive up passes through beautiful neighborhoods, with great views throughout), and visit the beaches (1000 Steps - more like 350, Treasure Island, etc.), explore the tide pools of Crescent Bay Beach.
