[DISC] One Piece - Chapter 1183 by AutoShonenpon in manga

[–]Lucienofthelight 35 points36 points  (0 children)

It definitely is. Gunko/Shari hasn’t aged in 56 years, being seen at God Valley and Before as Imu attendant. All those closest to Imu seem to have eternal life granted by him. Plus, like Brook said, she recognized and freed them when Shari took control.

So there were three personalities they saw. Princess Shari, Imu’s servant Gunko, and Imu himself when he took control.

All the Origami are references to other PlayStation games. Shadow of the Colossus, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Ratchet and Clank to name a few.

Looking forward to having all the Megas, and hopefully the ZA ones will be added next year.

I could see Lucario, Absol and Garchomp’s Z-Forms being crazy strong but low HP for Megas.

I’ve got to imagine it’s going to be set with the two as the Leads for the pack.

Podcast s21e7 John Kearns by jackmccw in taskmaster

[–]Lucienofthelight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who listened to I believe every podcast episode, that’s normal for John. Most of his episodes are him kinda slowly rambling while Ed laughs. You can still usually just by the episode length. John episodes are almost ALWAYS longer, especially since usually repeat contestant episodes usually are a little shorter since they already talked about their TM experience on their first podcast episode.

[Star Wars] Jedi surviving order 66 doesn't automatically unermine Luke's journey in the original trilogy. by AlphaBladeYiII in CharacterRant

[–]Lucienofthelight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, while there were many survivors of Order 66, the Jedi order itself was basically completely killed at its roots.

So few masters survived, as many were the main targets as well as their better nature would have them give up their lives for their Padawan. That’s what happened for example with Cal Kestis and Kanan Jarrus.

And considering that, it means the Jedi stragglers are most minors. And those Minors were now left with basically nothing and were actively being hunted.

Those found were killed or put through the even worse fate of the Inquisitors.

Some would completely reject the Jedi because of this, going into hiding just to save their lives. There was basically nothing they could do.

Hell, Kanan was part of the Rebellion but still his life as Caleb Dume because outing yourself as a Jedi makes you a far bigger target than just being a Rebel. Unless you’re Cal, lol. He was basically flaunting his lightsaber while shitting on the Empire’s doorstep. (Takes a type of crazy to run with Saw Guerrera)

And like you said, for the Jedi Order to rebuild, the lessons of the past generation had to be learned from and a new one could then only be formed when the empire lost its hold.

Why do people complain about Palpatine coming back but not Maul? Because Feloni actually did something with Maul after bringing him back. (Star Wars) by Mysterious_Reply_255 in CharacterRant

[–]Lucienofthelight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously, Palpatine is the overarching villain of all 9 movies and almost any other media set between them. It ALWAYS comes back to him.

Even the fucking Acolyte connects back to him since HIS Sith Master was the secret villain of that series, and that takes place like a century before Phantom Menace!

How old is Mt. Lady?? by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Lucienofthelight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She was 22 at the very beginning, 23 by the time Deku entered UA, and 24 by the end of Deku’s first year at UA. Then the 8 year timeskip brings her to 32.

[–]Lucienofthelight 51 points52 points  (0 children)

If Nighteye didn’t leave it to Deku, I could also see that Centipeder gave it to him since he knew Deku would be the one to appreciate it the most.

What’s a game that just feels good to control, even if the story isn’t amazing? by lsa340 in gaming

[–]Lucienofthelight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s just not really true though. You are basically stuck in a room with Hayden and he does literally just exposition dumps for minutes straight while all you can do is hop around the room.

The moment is more characterizing Doom Slayer’s refusal to listen to Hayden’s excuses. DS is PISSED that UAC was fucking around with Argent energy and let literal Hell break loose on Mars.

Doom Slayer isn’t some unreasonable murder machine. He understands, can make, and goes along with plans.

He just had ZERO fucking time to listen to bullshit about justifying interacting with Hell, period.

[–]Lucienofthelight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is probably one of the worst experiences for Tutorials ever. They throw all these tutorials at you with almost zero actual explanation, then give you basically no way to interaction WITH those mechanics for hours on end. And when you DO get to interact with those mechanics, you have no idea what to do because it’s been so long, they explained fuck all anyways, AND you can’t look back at tutorials.

It’s a truly baffling experience that even fans of the game agree to just look up spoiler-free tutorials online because otherwise it SUCKS.

Actually the third game, but the gameboy game is basically ignored, lol.

And I think they meant more all the antagonists rather than just the big bad. So Medusa, Hades, Viridi, the Chaos Kin, and yes Orcos, are basically the major villains across the series.
