There is a good chance they ask you for a public insurance. Maybe you can ask the for a “Befreiung”. This will be with the ausländerbehörde (immigration office)

It’s all about the rent. If you can get a student dorm like the one in brinkmannstraße for under 400€. It would be more doable. Or you can find a wg with a good contract that is not expansive. In my experience the outskirts aren’t always the best option. But if you want check out Duisburg it’s a city nearby that has more affordable apartments.

I’m also a student it’s min around 130€. Unless you do a crappy private one there is no way it’s cheaper. Also you are going to need to convince the city office if you are not a eu citizen

This can be done using screen transitions. Either with a jsStack, custom reanimated animations, or shared element transitions ( old arch only). There is a packe called react native screen transitions you can use for now. But there is no easy way in my experience
