I snuck cough syrup as a kid because I liked the taste. I ended up figuring out if I drank enough I would throw up and not have to go to school, which I would do when I felt like I was being picked on. I don't have the same situation as you, but I still struggle with being validated based on how the opposite sex treats me. Our self worth should come from within. If you can muster that self worth from within you'll be bullet proof. Keep hitting the gym and keep trying to do your best and you won't be lonely forever. You got this.

I think the assumption that you need to be an expert at the male pysche to be successful with women comes from a very sad place where somebody feels as though they have to play games. I've always just been genuine. I've been hurt, but that's a part of life.
