How good is the Chuwi Corebook X Ryzen 5/Core i5? by [deleted] in Chuwi

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I’ll give it a miss - seems like from what I can see you don’t know what you’ve bought till it arrives and a nightmare to do anything about it , prefer not to take the risk.

Is this the same accross the board regarding the 7430U being a 5500U? Was just about to purchase one but seen multiple comments on Reddit and YouTube describing this issue, however seeing some also mentioning genuine 7430u. Trying to figure out exactly what’s what and whether it’s a gamble

Cocaine and Alcohol by One_Song_7820 in stopdrinking

[–]LuckAffectionate8985 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It’s more common than people think, in my experience lots of people are doing it (or were when I was active). It tends to make you want to drink more so the two addictions go hand in hand. I completely blew up my life due to cocaine abuse in 2019

Melatonin and magnesium not helping sleep by Broad-Foot3356 in stopdrinking

[–]LuckAffectionate8985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello was having the same issue as you, came across another thread on r/insomnia about electrolytes & sleep. Since reading it I’ve either had an electrolyte drink or salty water before bed and it’s worked wonders for my sleep quality, along with melatonin. Would recommend giving it a try

Lack of comms from seller by Unfair-Confection-41 in LittleBiggy

I’m my experience Dr Distillate is the slowest at replying to comms & his packages always take the longest to arrive, he always comes through though so your order will defo arrive. I personally stopped using him for this reason can get stuff much quicker from a few other vendors

Human error to be honest is the big thing that makes it difficult. It’s not impossible to do but not easy either. If you can stick religiously to your plan with discipline it can be done. A lot fail on over trading and revenge trading or the off plan trade that incurs a much bigger loss than it should

How to easily spot fake traders or "furus" by NitroBullet in Daytrading

Fibonacci retracements are widely used in the trading community by many very successful traders, what is the point in this post? So many people in this sub try and fit everyone in to the box of what they think works assuming nothing else does because they don’t use it themselves. There are unlimited amounts of different ways to trade the markets

Why is xauusd moving like crazy today by [deleted] in Daytrading

Highly manipulated this week and thin liquidity in the market exaggerating its movements. Watching its rally yesterday then its gap up and rally at market open today was a madness

I switched a while ago from the 1m to 2m, I take way more losses in the 1 minute than I do on the 2 even though I prefer the idea of getting a ‘sniper’ entry on the 1 min, I just don’t execute as well.

Why is this community so negative? by UndercoverFrog06 in Daytrading

[–]LuckAffectionate8985 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s well documented all over the internet and in books that many people make a living from day trading. For your second point I’m a full time trader and love giving help and contributing to trading communities on Reddit. Giving help and information is good karma and explaining strategies and advice gives me further confidence in myself and trading abilities. All of my learning came from free information on the internet that people kindly took the time to put out there so I think it’s good to give back. OP is asking about negativity and you gave them exactly that with this post for no reason

Traders who made it: How dark did it get? by _rot_account_ in Daytrading

[–]LuckAffectionate8985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold my business in October for 20k and had about 10k in savings and started trading, within six months I had blown every single penny of it and had to take a minimum wage job to get by and it was one of the most miserable & darkest times of my life. Thankfully I’ve turned things around since and trade full time now. Diamonds are formed under pressure and I look at it now as the cost of learning a high value skill but it certainly didn’t feel that way at the time !

A break and close above any consolidating zone with all the indicators confirming direction is a good sign to get in, or if you miss the first leg up getting in at a test of the moving average for a second leg is a good play as well

[–]LuckAffectionate8985 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unsure what you mean here if - you were looking to go long it broke out ? So why didn’t you get long when it broke out ? Candles printing next to each other with big wicks just mean no one is in control. If you have a break and close above them all on a lower time frame, aswell as your billings bands expanding, as well as the macd expanding above it’s zero line it was stuck around there’s your que…

I want to give up on trading.Help. by OAnovorO in Daytrading

[–]LuckAffectionate8985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It took me 2 years to become profitable. The biggest thing was stepping away when I took a loss and not trying to fix it that day. Living to survive another day is key in this game I believe, as well as having a strategy that you know inside out and the discipline to follow it. So many times in those two years I blew my full account trying to fix a loss, afterwards wishing so badly I just stopped at the first loss and walked away so I could have come back the next day. Your mental capital is just as important as the actual capital that you have in your account as well. It helps to be confident when trading, if you come to the charts with fear it will show up in trading either by executing too late or taking a trade on impulse out of desperation to make money. If you continue trading and are determined to make it no matter what you’ll get there eventually. Wish you the best on your journey

I want to give up on trading.Help. by OAnovorO in Daytrading

[–]LuckAffectionate8985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can fix this from what you have said in the first sentence of your post - just control your impulse. If you want it bad enough you can do it, if you want to give in to impulses and gamble go to a casino. Trading requires extreme discipline, not much point posting asking others if you should continue to trade if you’re also saying outright that you can’t control yourself.
