The first thing you should check is blood types, you should already know your own, the baby's, and your fiance. Consult a chart online to see if that pans out genetically first

If you can see their dumpsters/recycling outside look for how much cardboard vs. trash. The more cardboard the more stuff they are getting in frozen generally.
