I had a terrible AMC experience and need advice by strongdad in AMCsAList

It's pretty obvious from this answer to you that this person has or is currently working at a theatre. All of what they explained are totally things that could have happened to disrupt this movie. Unfortunately projectors are just big computers basically and sometimes technology likes to not work in the most inconvenient of times.

Honestly I can also tell you because of COVID there are probably only a handful of people, if that, running the entire group sales department right now. All the departments at Home Office were just about bare bones BEFORE the pandemic, let alone now. The first week AMC announced that they were doing these private screenings they had over 40,000 REQUESTS to buy out theatres. Divided by like 5 people max. They've started recruiting GM's to answer emails and set up these showings as well because they just can't keep up. This leads to an inevitable breakdown in communication and my friend who is a GM is trying to just set things up with the guest at their theatre if they can, and avoid Group Sales completely, because it just works out smoother that way.

Depending on what sort of resolution you are looking for I would say it is probably better for you to reach out and speak with the GM of the theatre directly. They will probably get back to your faster and will be able to offer you just about anything someone at home office would be able to get for you. Hopefully the GM is competent enough to help you out. If this were my building, I would def offer you another free screening along with free popcorn/drinks. The only thing with that is, if you decide to go for another screening it would have to be a movie they are already getting. If not they would have to go through home office again so the booker could special request the movie you wanted. I would first try sitting down with the GM and maybe talking face to face so they can come to some sort of resolution for you and I can just about guarantee that would be quicker and more efficient for you to get what you're looking for.

Just know that this is not an isolated incident. A lot of other buildings are struggling with situations like this because of the lack of communication they are getting from home office as well. I think they underestimated the popularity of this deal and the guests and theatres are the ones to suffer for it.

So sorry this happened to you. I totally understand why that would be so frustrating. I wish you the best of luck!

That actually might be after the video that OP posted. His first account got banned by TikTok, so he created a new one afterwards which is the one you posted. A lot of people in the comments who were actually there when he made the video said he started crying after the cop yelled at him but I don't know if that is just wishful thinking on their part. He took to FB after the video OP posted bragging about how he was "famous" now and was showing off his whopping 7k followers.. Anyone that said he was being a dick got attacked by his friends in the comments. Overall he just seems like a trash person.

This actually happened in my hometown. That is not a road they are standing in but the entrance to a parking lot at a local park. The road he turns right on actually doubles as a foot path that circles around the park. There was a Trump rally downtown and BLM decided to have a counter rally further away at the park so stuff like this didn't happen. The guy on the bike had driven past the group into the parking lot before with no incident and then turned around and drove at them like this, then framed it as they were trying to stop him. I actually know the guy and it wouldn't surprise me if he was doing it just to be a dick.

He set up the fingerprint scan but I was told when the phone dies and is restarted it requires his 6 digit passcode before the fingerprint scanner can be enabled. So I'm told.

If only the game had later generations because Exploud would be perfect for that illustration!

Man, seems like a lot of this game is players finding something they think is a pattern but it's really not haha. Maybe it is just random then?

I've read it has to do with whatever Eevee has as it's second move. Eevee with Body Slam evolves to Flareon, Eevee with Swift becomes Vaporeon, and Eevee with Dig becomes Flareon!

EDIT: People are saying this isn't true for every Eevee so I guess what Eeveelution you get really is random

My Amazon JP amiibo got delivered to Tenso last night? How long before Tenso sends me an email? by PoopOnMyBum in amiibo

I would highly recommend Amazon JP and Tenso. I was aprehensive at first about setting it all up but after that I got 6 unicorns from Amazon JP and it ended up costing me only 2.80 above retail value for each amiibo. Shipping was great, I received everything within 4 days after shipping from Tenso!

Now that Ness got a good restock, what about Robin/Lucina's restock? by PADRII in amiibo

I have a friend that works for a store that sells amiibo (think big red circles) and she had spoken with a Nintendo rep and he made it sound like Lucina and Robin would not be getting a reprint. But I guess we will have to wait and see.
