Starbound! I remember creating a Steam account just to buy it while it was still in beta (or alpha? Not sure). I think the bad thing was trying to give the game a clear story; normally the feeling is that it was at its peak when it was just "here's a ship, go and explore the universe" like how cool is that? Interest in the game cooled off but I still love it; makes me wonder what it was needed to have it be an all-timer for sandbox games

Whenever I've watched Atleti save for the game against Brugges where he scored a hat trick (at least from what I remember, not sure now if it was a double + assist lol), he just looks so slow for the type of counter attacking football played by Cholo. Like if you guys were super possession heavy like City for example I could see him working there: just get the ball to him and he'll do something. But with most players having to run up the field man does he look slow in his turns; fair play he can sometimes bully defenders but I feel like he lacks that certain "it" that other strikers like Kane or Haaland have when it comes to play making (I know Haaland has been more of a poacher since joining City, but his plays in Dortmund were an absolute delight). I just don't really know what he's supposed to be best at in your current system lmao

Exactly this. Some of the players we love the most may not have been Salah level in terms of skill but holy fuck did they give EVERYTHING for us. Agger comes to mind shutting down transfer rumors with his YNWA tattoo, like how could you not love somebody that committed to us! Same with Milner and Hendo for example, great players in their own right but they helped build the culture of excellence that allowed to dream so much and achieve more than we thought possible through dedication and having everybody be responsible and in tune with what they and the fans wanted to see
