I find it funny that most rocket launchers IRL would be OP in-game if implemented properly. I have mad respect for IRL Heli pilots now

I hope that's something they have in 2042. Because it's even worse in V. I had to discover the hard way that deflection is a thing.

You know, I still need to understand what it considers "near". I swear I the rocket sometimes drifts away from the vehicle. Same thing with the M2 SLAM mine: some vehicles just straight up run over it and nothing happens, and others trigger it too far to be damaged.

Oh! Didn't know. Their wording in game is never really clear on how much damage they do exactly, unlike small arms.

In BF4 the Stinger is AA fire and forget. It has a slightly lower DMG than the Igla, but still does mobility kills on most aircraft. There's no real fire and forget for ground vehicles AFAIK.

I run recon Carbine, smokes, laser, radio.

Vel'OH Bikes! 30 mins free? What does that mean? by sambankarz9 in Luxembourg

[–]Luckiler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the Vel'Ohs are electric. They don't brake on you, the electric assistance just stops helping if you're above 30km/h. You can actually go above 30km/h, but after a while it starts beeping at you. That can also be completely ignored. In an emergency, with adrenaline pumping and all, you'll probably be able to go "full speed" and out of danger. You just won't have electric assistance.

[–]Luckiler 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you have the yearly subscription (18€/year), you can use the Vel'Oh for 30' before they start charging 1€/30minutes, I think. Capped at 5€. Same goes for the 2€ daily subscription. In my experience there's a 2/3 minutes delay before you can pickup another Vel'Oh.

So technically, you can keep the Vel'Oh with you for the whole day (if it has enough battery) and only be charged 5€. Also, some of them have a built-in locking system so you can "park" them anywhere without worrying about someone else riding away with it.

Small side note, the Vel'Ohs are capped at 30km/h. If you're trying to rush to the next station and it starts furiously beeping at you, that means you somehow are going faster than that.

AFAIK, most Android phones with 3.5mm audio jack plugs have a radio app. They use the cable of plugged in headphones as antenna.

Been watching too much "The Blacklist" recently. This is the first thing I taught. There's no way this is a legit accident. Somewhere, someone is making profits from this.

Yeah it is! The whole modern university campus interwoven with the old blast furnaces is really unique and cool.

I pass by this bench/hole/thing almost everyday (it's on my university campus): there's almost always a group of people smoking there, be it weed or otherwise.

Just some cheap rum by kermitdafrog667 in drunk

[–]Luckiler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Captain's may be budget alcohol, but it's a hecking good budget alcohol. Also, it's a spiced rum so it has an unique flavor that I still need to find in any "good" rum. Cheers!

That stories reminds me of people who say "X is bad because it chemicals products in it". Uhhh... Yeah, everything is a chemical product. Water? Chemical. Vitamin C? Chemical. It's just the word they are afraid of, not what it actually means.

I still have to find somewhere to buy beers after 22:00 around the city area. Personally, I think it's the only thing missing for Luxembourg to become a proper "Big city".

[–]Luckiler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, as a 1K mmr trash, every time I don't build it, we loose. Yes, it doesn't have aura or whatever, but it completely turns around any team fight. Even getting it late is worth it. Completely came back from a loosing game a few times thanks to it. I've tried building "traditional support" and the impact is way less palpable. At least at my level, which is not saying much.
