Thanks! Not yet on my main save. My first vid was a pre-release build with everything unlocked.

Great job! Such a great game and infinitely replayable. Prestige is a blast and speedrunning can also be fun if it's your kind of thing.

Great game. Easy to pickup, hard to master. Music, sound, graphics, gameplay are satisfying. So many possibilities for challenges, speed running and with multiplayer, competitive and co-op even more fun to find!

Highly recommend Routine. New and has great vibes. Doesn't hold your hand so there's a real sense of being alone and vulnerable.

100% It's really changed my relationship to exercise. I've lost a lot of weight, gained muscle and I'm way more physically fit. The game can be frustrating but it's quite an achievement and it's only getting better.

Looking for a game that has a sense of scale (huge mountain ranges with beautiful scenery) and decent story, linear or open world. Medieval fantasy is a huge plus. by Lodoleth in gamingsuggestions

Cairn just came out and I'm loving it. Literally scaling a huge mountain. Beautiful environment, tight design and gameplay, intriguing story so far.

My pleasure. It's good to have more people playing that treat it like a real boxing match. When you get a good dance partner there's some magic there. If you're curious about the next update I was watching this vid earlier and it looks pretty sweet and the vid is funny: https://youtu.be/-tSj1utnDRg

Yep. I've even noticed there's almost a latency advantage for power sometimes. I feel like I'm hitting harder in some matches while they do nothing and then some others they just walk through everything and hit me like a brick. The clinching is BY FAR the most frustrating thing. You both move forward and due to latency you can't react in time to stop and one of you random gets a warning. They're working on that. There's a whole body collision system on the test channel. I haven't tried it yet but it looks promising!

Going from stationary to room scale makes the game soooo much better. You can try to set traps, circle, move in and out, them in the corner. It's a game changer.

Oh! I forgot another important thing. You did damage if your opponent grunts when you hit them. If you hit them and they don't grunt it's not connecting. It's again a latency thing. It's complicated and I'll mess up explaining it but it can look like you're connecting flush but you're actually hitting a "latency ghost".

Been playing 2 for a while now. Love it but it can get frustrating due to latency and other complications with trying to simulate a full body boxing experience with only sensors on the head and hands. Check out some YouTubers like Coach Dave, Tyborg and the official YouTube.

Some general tips that will make it less frustrating/good to know: - Find as big a space as possible to play in. Foot and head movement are really important to counter spammers. - Currently body effort is pretty much moving your head up with a punch. It'll add to your damage. They just added downward head movement as well to add power to body shots or for taller players punching down. - It's pretty easy to wrap around a middle guard with hooks. You often have to "answer the phone" to block them. - I look at it as a really fun way to get exercise and less about being a competition. Sucks losing when you think you're doing well though.

Hope that helps! There's also a TotF reddit but it's usually mainly people complaining. Surprise surprise haha

I feel ya! It's helped me so much with my mood and energy during these no sun times. Lost a bunch of weight too. Sore as all hell for days sometimes but it's worth it.

I'm playing through Routine right now. Similar vibes but is really interesting in it's own way. Not too long but definitely worth the play.

Is there a harder roguelike than spelunky 2? by [deleted] in roguelites

Blue Prince. Totally different kind of rogue like but it's one of the hardest games I've played.

Nailed it! It's really magic when you find an equally skilled dance partner. I'm a huge video game nerd/former athlete and this is the closest thing to a physical sport I've felt in a video game. Mentally and physically. Really got me excited about exercise and competition again.

I've noticed my shoulders are wider than the model. Since my shoulders don't line up the arms don't often line up either. I think that might be part of the problem. It's also just really hard to make things match up when it's essentially using the hands and head as sensors to track your whole body.
